May 30, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, June 3
May 31, 2024With the opener of the Cubs/Cardinals series getting washed out and Shota Imanaga getting his start skipped in the rotation, we only had one game in play last Friday. Unfortunately, we ended up splitting all three legs with the Braves failing to cash on the moneyline, pushing their team total, and Bailey Falter giving up just enough to sneak over his hits allowed prop. Quite the uneventful n for last Friday’s MLB parlay picks. We’ve been cashing in nicely against the MLB odds recently over at Caesars Sportsbook, and will attempt to keep cooking as we close out the month of May and head into the weekend – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Phillies MLB Same Game Parlay:
I’m gonna heat check the Phillies in the opener of this three-game set with the Cardinals and also look to make a series bet on St. Louis before the first pitch is thrown Friday night. Philly is currently in the midst of a nice little regression having dropped four of six on the road against the Rockies and Giants. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have catapulted themselves back into the NL Central pennant chase by way of cashing in against the MLB odds 12 of the last 15 times they stepped between the lines ($799).
Miles Mikolas has led the Redbirds to wins each of the last three times he took to the starting bump with two of those outings of the quality variety. Aaron Nola has been lights out on the road (1.82 ERA/.174 BAA), but has been ordinary within CBP where his ERA jumps up to 4.21 while serving up 34 hits (6 HR) through 36.1 innings. We’re possibly playing with fire here and could ultimately look real foolish touting the visitors, but St. Louis is playing a very confident brand of ball right now which has me taking a stab on an Alec Burleson-led offense that’s averaged 4.8 runs over the last eight games.

Texas Rangers vs. Miami Marlins MLB Same Game Parlay:
A pair of gas cans will get starting nods in the opener of this three-game set between the Rangers and Marlins with Jose Urena set to square off against Sixto Sanchez. While the former enters his fifth start the owner of a 3.53 ERA that’s in-line with a decent 4.28 FIP, his home/away splits are something we’ll look to take advantage of on the baseball betting odds in this spot. The righty has been shockingly good in Arlington where his ERA clocks in at 1.35 while allowing a paltry 12 hits (2 HR) and 3 ER through 20 IP.
On the road however, the veteran has been peppered to the tune of a 5.40 ERA and .293 batting average against. Marlins Park has also been a nightmarish venue for him after pitching to a 4.44 ERA and 1.38 WHIP over 316 innings when pitching for Miami. Sanchez has been an impediment regardless of venue. His ERA clocks in at a robust 6.25 with 39 hits and 13 walks allowed through 31.2 total innings. He’s averaging just 4.8 K/9 and Texas is the seventh toughest teams in MLB to send down on strikes. Neither starter figures to be long for this one which means both bullpens will play a role which bodes well for over bettors considering each ranks out in the bottom third of the league rankings.

- SANCHEZ UNDER TOTAL STRIKEOUTS RECORDED
Colorado Rockies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Same Game Parlay:
Things started to get hairy there for a second with the Dodgers dropping back-to-back series to the D’backs and Reds and getting swept by the latter in the GAB. However, Dave Roberts’ squad looked to get its groove back earlier this week by taking all three matchups with the defunct Mets. They’ll get an off-day Thursday before returning home to open this set with the Rockies where they’ve won 19 of 30 played games (-$72). Though Walker Buehler has been nothing to write home about entering his fifth start, Los Angeles will be installed enormous favorites to get in the win column.
Regardless of how well Colorado has been playing recently in winning 12 of its last 19 games ($1224), I have no reservations laying the run-line with Dakota Hudson and his 9.3 hits and 5.0 walks allowed per nine innings getting the starting nod. The righty has walked (13) more batters than he’s struck out (12) throughout 25.2 May innings, and only the Yankees and Phillies have taken more free passes than the Dodgers. I get that LA’s bats have been struggling lately, but a return home paired with Hudson’s wildness and penchant for tossing batting practice leads me to believe a huge showing is coming from the betting favorites to cash in on the World Series futures odds.
