CFB Futures – 2024 Michigan Wolverines Win Total Odds
July 26, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Saturday, July 27
July 26, 2024Pitching changes and Mother Nature whittled last Monday’s installment of MLB parlay picks down to just two legs. Thankfully, we cashed both tickets to take home a modest profit. The Cubs pulled out the 3-1 win over the Brewers as slight home dogs to avoid getting swept in the series, while Hunter Greene fanned seven Atlanta Braves to just go over his 6.5 strikeout prop at Caesars Sportsbook. Here’s to once again kicking the week off in the black with another assortment of parlay legs to add to your parlay cards – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies MLB Same Game Parlay:
Even with a two-week layoff, Zack Wheeler continued to show why he deserves to be in the running for the NL Cy Young Award at Caesars (+170) after tossing seven shutout innings at the Twins. Unfortunately, his W/L record remained the same (10-4) due to his offense not plating a single run until the top of the ninth inning. Even so, Philadelphia stands a lucrative 6-2 versus the MLB odds in his eight starts made since the start of June. The righty has been a dynamic force in the comforts of Citizens Bank Park where he stands 7-2 with a 1.77 ERA and .174 batting average against while logging an 81:19 K/BB ratio over 71.1 total innings. His offense just seems to come alive in front of the hometown faithful with it averaging 5.4 runs per game, and it should be in a position to dent the scoreboard should his opponent stick to his M.O. of walking batters left and right.
As fantastic Luis Gil has been through a career-high 20 starts, his dominant start to the 2024 baseball betting season has lost a bit of its luster with the Yankees only managing wins in one of his last six trips to the bump. Still, the right-hander has been nothing short of electric throughout July pitching to a 2.91 ERA while only allowing 15 hits (2 HR) and 7 ER through just short of 22 innings over four starts. Shockingly, he’s only walked five batters during that stretch, but none of the four opponents were as excelled at taking free passes as the Phillies (#4). Tonight will be a stern test for the youngster and his 4.5 BB/9. Look for the negative regression monster to return and allow Bryce Harper and Co. to hang a crooked number in his first ever appearance in the City of Brotherly Love.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Houston Astros MLB Same Game Parlay:
What a turnaround it’s been for the Houston Astros who currently sit perched atop the AL West standings after sitting in last place and 6.5-games back entering the month of May. And to think it’s done most of its damage with a number of pertinent pieces riding the pine. The team has been on a tear since late-June and has still been able to get the job done with Kyle Tucker and the starting pitching staff ravaged by injuries. Honestly, I have no clue how the arms have held up to this point with no-name after no-name being thrown to the fire every passing game. One of those no-names is scheduled to take the bump tonight in the form of Jake Bloss. His reward for doing so is a matchup with Paul Skenes who has made a huge jump up the leaderboard at Caesars Sportsbook to win the NL Cy Young Award.
The kid just through 8.1 innings and collected 8 K yet still took the loss against St. Louis after the 2 ER allowed proved to be enough to earn the Redbirds the win last time out. Even in defeat the rookie was electric and looked to be a cut above the rest. The defeat proved to be his first of the MLB betting season moving him to 6-1 with a 1.93 ERA and 97:13 K/BB ratio in just under 75 overall innings. The righty has gone for at least 8 K in eight of his last nine starts, and he’s been nothing short of lethal on the road where he’s logged a 0.86 ERA, 0.61 WHIP, and held opposing lineups to a .135 batting average against. I faded the youngster on the MLB odds his last time out and sweat so much that I lost five pounds. I’m not making the same mistake twice!
