MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Sunday, July 2
June 30, 2023Cincinnati Bengals Season Win Total Odds, Pick & Prediction
June 30, 2023Last Monday’s MLB Same Game Parlays went 2-1 over at BetRivers Sportsbook and would’ve swept the board had Spencer Strider not gone HAM to lead the Braves to the series opening win against the Twins. We recouped the loss from that SGP with the Orioles and Tigers with the latter cashing in as hefty underdogs on the MLB odds against the homebased Rangers. Baltimore busted out the whipping sticks upon Brandon Williamson as expected, while Detroit still managed to take the opener even after Matthew Boyd departed early. Let’s kick off a brand new week by adding to the bankroll once again with some parlay picks – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins
Much like the Cincinnati Reds last week in Baltimore, the Fish find themselves in an incredibly tough spot returning home to oppose the Redbirds coming off a crucial series with the Braves in Atlanta over the weekend. As such, I don’t expect them to bring their “A” game to the yard in the opener. While not enthralled about hitching my wagon to the unpredictable Miles Mikolas, the right-hander has been at his best on the road where his 3.63 ERA is nearly two runs lower than when he toes the bump at Busch. St. Louis has shown a pulse recently as well having come out on top in six of their last nine games heading into Thursday’s finale with the Astros. Though Braxton Garrett has been pitching like a man possessed throughout June in allowing 7 ER through 28.1 total innings and registering a 38:3 K/BB ratio, he’s been susceptible at home where he’s failed to pitch through the sixth inning in all but one of six starts. It pains me to do this, but I’m backing the freaking Cardinals as slight road dogs!

Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees
Domingo German just became the 24th pitcher in the history of Major League Baseball to throw a perfect game. Naturally, we’re fading him in this crash back to reality spot against an Orioles team I firmly expect to make a move up the AL East standings now that the roster has gotten much healthier the last few weeks. Heading into last Thursday night’s start, German had given up 15 hits (5 HR) and 15 ER in his prior two starts against the Mariners and Red Sox. The righty has been the epitome of all or nothing to date, and I foresee him having loads of trouble against Ced Mullins and co. who are currently the frontrunners for the top wild card slot. I’ve also been watching Tyler Wells from afar to see if his body of work has been legit or been done with smoke and mirrors. Though his 4.57 FIP is 1+ runs higher than his 3.21 ERA, the righty owns a 0.885 WHIP and is only allowing 6.0 hits and registering 4.75 strikeouts per walk. That being said, he’s been ripped for 11 hits (5 HR) and 9 ER through a pair of starts against the Yankees to date. As such, look for Baltimore to win a track meet in the opener!

Seattle Mariners vs. San Francisco Giants
I’m 100 percent a glutton for punishment. Why do I enjoy PAIN?! I’ll voluntarily sign up for some more tonight by expecting something from the Seattle Mariners in this series opener with the Giants who unequivocally possess the starting pitching advantage with Logan Webb looking to bounce back against some dude named Bryan Woo. But do they really? The latter has looked pretty decent since getting the call at the beginning of June, while the latter has been nothing if not mediocre in allowing 40 hits (5 HR) and 20 ER through his last 38.1 total innings. For reference sake, Woo has allowed 22 hits and 11 ER with a sensational 32:6 K/BB ratio over his first 22.2 big league innings. The Giants are suffering from some bothersome injuries to Michael Conforto and Mike Yastrzemski which will make his job just a bit easier. With a 25 percent K rate for the season, I expect Woo to rack up another lofty strikeout tally and have the M’s in a position to take cash in as road dogs in the opener.
