Week 2 College Football Parlay Picks
September 5, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Saturday, September 7
September 6, 2024Pitcher shenanigans dramatically altered the amount of action we had in play with last Monday’s MLB parlay picks. Due to Jack Flaherty getting the start instead of Walker Buehler and Justin Steele getting scratched from his assignment against the Pirates, we only ended up having two parlay legs in play at Caesars Sportsbook. Unfortunately, we only managed to log a split with the Dodgers plating 11 runs to cruise past what proved to be a laughable 4.5-run team total and Jared Jones coming a pair of strikeouts away from exceeding his 5.5 K prop. It’s been a minute since we last go a week off in the black, so I’ll try my damndest with the entire world tuning into the MNF matchup between the Jets and 49ers – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Miami Marlins vs. Pittsburgh Pirates MLB Same Game Parlay:
At one point in time, Paul Skenes was the odds-on favorite to take home the NL Cy Young and NL Rookie of the Year Awards at Caesars Sportsbook. Now offering up a 12-1 return on investment in the former market and getting severely lapped by Jackson Merrill in the latter, the right-hander is running out of bullets to fire in hopes of having any shot of getting back into either race. Tonight however represents as good a spot as any with a Miami Marlins outfit in town that’s been one of the best teams to target when looking to cash in on pitcher prop MLB odds.
One of the main reasons why Skenes has seen his overall production crater in recent weeks is because of running up against opponents for the second and third time. It also didn’t help that he had to throw at the surging Astros, D’backs, and Dodgers in three successive starts. The youngster almost made it look to easy early on routinely going into the seventh inning while notching 8+ strikeouts on the reg. That hasn’t occurred since the end of July, but I got a sense it goes down tonight running up against the Fish who’ve been a middle of the road lineup against right-handed pitching (No. 14) but have recently experienced some positive regression in that respect over the last 30 days (#7). Miami has fanned at a 23.1% clip overall (#17) and matched that mark against RHP since August 1 leading me to believe Skenes will be in a position to churn out one of his patented pitching clinics and show all the young bucks in attendance how it’s done.

Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Same Game Parlay:
I have no clue who the Cubs will send to the bump for the series opener with the Dodgers. I don’t care. I want a piece of Chicago in Cody Bellinger’s return to Tinseltown with the corpse of Walker Buehler on the bump serving up the meatiest of meat balls for Cubs sluggers to hit deep into the night. I tried fading Buehler a week ago to the day, but he got his start pushed back against the Snakes. He won’t be able to hide for this one—fingers crossed—so I’m firing up the cannon and expecting to unload!
While the righty just put forth his most respectable outing since returning from the IL in mid-August, it still wasn’t much to get excited about. That is unless five innings of five hit (2 HR) ball and 6:2 K/BB ratio excites you coming against the walking dead that’s proven to be the Los Angeles Angels. The Halos are currently the worst hitting team against RHP dating back to August 1. You know who’s the fourth best behind only the D’backs, Padres, and Yankees? You get a gold star of you said the Cubs who’ve raked righties to the tune of a .266 average, .346 OBP (#3), and .810 OPS (#3). With Chicago doing its damndest to make up for a wasted season against the baseball betting lines over the last 30+ days, I fully expect the big sticks to show and chase Buehler before he even gets a chance to work up a lather. Yeas, we’re also taking a flier on Belli being one of the main reasons why in his return to Chavez Ravine.
