MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, July 29
July 26, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Sunday, July 28
July 26, 2024Due to Nathan Eovaldi’s start being moved up to Friday’s series opener with the Orioles, it only left four of last Saturday’s MLB parlay picks in play at Caesars Sportsbook. Unfortunately, we only managed to cash a single ticket. Dylan Cease exceeded my expectations in his first start following the All-Star break, shutting the Guardians out through seven innings, allowing just one hit, and striking out 10. Our lone winning ticket proved to be the over on Gavin Williams’ earned runs prop after serving up 3 ER in his 3.2 innings of work. Frustratingly, the game ended in a 7-0 under. Grayson Williams only gave up 2 ER with 8 strikeouts in six innings, but the bullpen allowed two cheapies in the eighth, allowing the Rangers to exceed their 3.5-run team total in an 8-4 defeat. Let’s get back on track this Saturday with another round of MLB parlay leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants MLB Same Game Parlay:
For the first time in a long time, the Giants are trotting a team onto the field that upper management envisioned would have them in the thick of the NL West and wild-card races come the season’s end. Due to injuries and underperformance, San Francisco has largely fell short of MLB bettors’ expectations with the team 5-games under .500 overall (-$570) which finds the club 12 and 4.5-games out in each respective race. However, the opportunity is there, at least in the short term, to eat into both deficits with each of its next five series set to run up against opponents also sporting losing records against the closing MLB odds. First up this weekend is a four-game series against a Colorado team it’s defeated six times through nine tries, and busted the brooms out on the Rockies when they paid Oracle Park a visit back in mid-May.
Ryan Feltner is an arm we’ve faded with success numerous times this baseball betting season. The right-hander has failed to lead the Rox to wins in any of his last five starts regardless of seemingly turning things around throughout the month of July in which he’s only surrendered 18 hits (2 HR) and 7 ER through 22.2 total innings. However, San Fran just saw his stuff last Sunday when he surprisingly tossed seven innings of 2 ER ball. His earlier outing at San Fran was a completely different story though with the righty getting tagged for seven hits (1 HR) and 5 ER through 4 IP. His arsenal matches up nicely with what the Giants’ offense excels at hitting per Stat Cast, so I fully expect Matt Chapman and Co. to right the ship in this spot.
Making the Giants all the more enticing in the first game of this doubleheader is the fact that Blake Snell will be on the bump to make his fourth start since returning from the IL. The left-hander has looked the part of the reigning NL Cy Young winner in conceding six hits and 2 ER with a 15:5 K/BB ratio over 18.0 combined innings. Even so, he failed to log a single win personally regardless of leading the Giants to a pair wins. That changes today! I also expect the southpaw to hang a crooked strikeout tally against a Colorado offense that owns the third-worst overall K percentage in the league (25.4%) which fattens all the way up to 33.1% when opposing left-handers on the road.
- SNELL TO EARN THE PITCHER WIN
- FELTNER OVER TOTAL HITS ALLOWED

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Arizona Diamondbacks MLB Same Game Parlay:
Now just a half-game out of the third and final NL wild-card slot, I like what I’m seeing from the reigning league champs with Torey Lovullo’s squad cashing in against the baseball betting odds 14 of the last 21 times they stepped between the lines. They enter Friday’s series opener having logged three straight series wins against the Blue Jays, Cubs, and Royals, and will get an opportunity to put some breathing room between themselves and the Buccos over this three-game set. Zona has raked left-handed pitching (No. 2) since day one, and will likely continue to do so in this one running up against Marco Gonzales who doesn’t seem to be fully stretched out just yet having failed to pitch past the fifth inning in either start since returning from the IL.
Nearly on par with what Zac Gallen has done to this point of the MLB betting season, Brandon Pfaadt has been a huge get for fantasy baseballers that scooped him off the waiver wire with the right-hander throwing to a 3.74 ERA and 111:27 K/BB ratio that’s supported by an even more impressive 3.53 FIP. Better at home (3.09 ERA) than on the road (4.29 ERA), the righty has led the Snakes to wins in four of his last five starts most recently shutting the Braves down through six innings in his most recent Chase Field start. With so much on the line throughout this series, I expect him to take the bull by the horns and do what’s needed, against a Pittsburgh offense averaging 2.0 runs over its last four games, to put the home team in a position to hit the win column.
