MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Saturday, June 8
June 7, 2024Sunday, June 9 NBA Finals Same Game Parlay Picks
June 7, 2024Last Sunday proved to be fantastic for my MLB parlay picks after cashing five of six same game parlay leg recommendations in at BetMGM Sportsbook. Behind Jake Irvin’s six innings of 2 ER ball with 6 K, the Nationals took the finale from the Guardians and exceeded their team total in the process. The Reds came up big for us in Wrigley for the second time in the series after Nick Lodolo tossed six innings of 2 ER ball to lock down his fifth win of the MLB betting season. Though he failed to topple his K prop, neither did Ben Brown with the 5 ER surrendered allowing the ‘Natti to beat their team total. Here’s to adding even more profits to the bottom line and closing the week out strong once again – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Seattle Mariners vs. Kansas City Royals MLB Same Game Parlay:
Get your popcorn ready and find a comfy spot on the couch for Sunday’s finale between the Mariners and Royals that pits George Kirby up against Cole Ragans in one of the best pitching pairings of the day. While the M’s righty remains on par with last year’s outputs, it’s equated to a 5-5 record and 4.05 ERA with Seattle only managing six overall wins in his 13 made starts. The home run ball has been a problem with him allowing a career-worst 1.1 per nine innings, but Kansas City ranks in the middle of the pack in the long ball department and he’s only allowed a pair to reach the cheap seats through 14.2 day innings pitched. However, the right-hander has been at his absolute worst on the road (5.35 ERA) and under the sun (7.98 ERA) leading me to believe Seattle will be forced to play catchup out of the chute.
That’s not good news for the visitors considering the offense will be staring back at Ragans who enters his 14th trip to the starting bump 4-4 with a 3.21 ERA and 89:24 K/BB ratio. Since shockingly getting lit up for eight hits and 7 ER by the Angels at the Big A back on May 11, the southpaw has conceded a grand total of 16 hits and 3 ER with a 32:8 K/BB ratio over his last four starts spanning 24.0 innings. He’s been lights out under the sun pitching to a 1.02 ERA that’s seen the lefty allow 20 hits and 4 ER while limiting the opposition to a .161 batting average against. Seattle remains the No. 1 team in the league to target when fishing for strikeouts, so we’ll drop our line and expect Ragans to be in position to lock down his fifth win of the year.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees MLB Same Game Parlay:
After broadcasting what could end up being a stinker to start the day in London between the Mets and Phillies, ESPN will close the night out with a possible World Series preview that has the Dodgers and Yankees closing their three-game set out in the Bronx. Making it all the more intriguing is the must-see pitching matchup that pits Tyler Glasnow up against Luis Gil with each hurler likely to attract much attention on the MLB odds with each currently perched atop their respective division standings.
LA’s staff ace enters his 14th start of the baseball betting season 6-4 with a 2.93 ERA and insane 104:23 K/BB ratio. The righty however hasn’t logged a win since early May which will undoubtedly have him looking to show out with a nationally televised audience looking on and not much else to take in live on Sunday night. I think House of Dragons Season 2 kicks off next week! Regardless, Glasnow has been worth the price of admission with the righty averaging 11.7 K and a paltry 5.5 hits allowed per nine innings. He’s also been dominant against New York’s batting lineup from his days with Tampa in going 4-2 with a 2.74 ERA and 63 K over 49.1 total innings.
Gil’s turnaround since the beginning of May has simply been astounding! The young buck has led the Pinstripes to seven straight wins and moved his record to 8-1 with a stellar 1.82 ERA and 0.92 WHIP while holding the opposition to an insane .129 BAA. During that stretch, the righty has conceded one or fewer earned runs and gone at least six innings in every made start. He did however look susceptible earlier this week against Minnesota and barely squeaked over his total outs prop at BetMGM. While I’ve turned the corner on the right-hander and believe him to be the Real Deal Holyfield, I first need to see him do it against a bonafide offense like the Dodgers under the lights with the world looking on before backing him against a proven arm like Glasnow. Prove me wrong and I’ll be all-in the remainder of the year!
