MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, July 1
June 28, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Wednesday, July 3
July 1, 2024Had Ranger Suarez tallied just one more out against the Tigers, we would’ve swept last Tuesday’s MLB parlay picks! Thankfully, the game still played to a low scorer and Tarik Skubal did his thing for us once again by surpassing his K prop at BetMGM Sportsbook. We capped the Rockies/Astros perfectly after Houston jumped out to a quick 5-0 first inning lead plating all five earned runs against Austin Gomber before going on to win 5-2 and cash in on the run-line. Here’s to churning out another solid showing with this Tuesday’s edition of MLB parlay leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Colorado Rockies MLB Same Game Parlay:
We gambled Monday night looking for a letdown from the Brewers in the opener of this four-game series with the Rockies. As much as I’d like to reverse course and lay the road chalk with the Brew Crew in game two, I simply can’t with Dallas Keuchel getting the starting nod. The lefty served up batting practice in his 2024 debut against the Rangers last Wednesday in allowing Texas to rake him for eight hits (2 HR) and 5 ER through his four innings of work. His sinkers found way too much of the plate, and that could prove to be an omen in the thin air of the Mile High City with Colorado possessing a number of bats that excel against the pitch type per Baseball Savant. It gets even worse for the lefty if forced to rely upon his changeup!
It certainly isn’t all doom and gloom for Milwaukee however with William Contreras and co set to stare back at Ryan Feltner and his subpar stuff. The right-hander has been lit up to the tune of a 6.59 ERA throughout the month of June serving up 32 hits (4 HR) and 20 ER with a solid 26:5 K/BB ratio over 27.1 total innings of work. His overall body of work has been nothing if not nightmarish at home (7.43 ERA) as well as under the lights (7.06 ERA) with 10 of the 12 home runs the righty has conceded coming at night. Opponents have averaged 7.2 runs per game in his five June starts as well as 6.4 runs per game in his last five at home. While I foresee the Rox getting to Keuchel, I also expect the Brew Crew to hang a crooked number of their own leading to a fun, high scorer.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners MLB Same Game Parlay:
Division leaders collide in a litmus test series starting Tuesday night when the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners square off in the series opener from beautiful T-Mobile Park. The O’s just bounced back from logging back-to-back series losses by taking three of four from the Texas Rangers to close out a seven-game homestand at Camden Yards. The M’s meanwhile lost the opening series of an extended 10-game homestand by allowing the Minnesota Twins to take two of three on their home turf. The series defeat was bothersome to say the least. Though Seattle enters the week atop the AL West standings and eight games up in the win column, a bulk of its 39 losses have come against winning ball clubs, while the wins have come against teams not likely to punch tickets to the playoffs. You have to go all the way back to the end of May to find the last time Seattle took a series from a winning team!
That trend paired with George Kirby toeing the bump in the opener leads me to believe the Mariners take to their home diamond salty looking to get a leg up against a Baltimore team its struggled against mightily recently having scored just a pair of ticket cashes in the last eight confrontations against the MLB odds. Kirby looked to have gotten back in a groove throughout June in going 3-0 with a 1.74 ERA with only 6 ER allowed and 31 strikeouts logged through 31 innings of work. Each of his last six starts has been of quality with Seattle coming out victorious five times. He’s been at his absolute best at home (2.34 ERA) and under the lights (3.02 ERA). It’s been the exact opposite for Grayson Rodriguez who’s been at his absolute worst on the road (5.35 ERA) and in night games (4.73 ERA). He’s also been hit around pretty good over his last three starts in allowing 21 hits through 19 innings of work. M’s take the opener behind their ace!
