CFB Futures – 2024 Liberty Flames Win Total Odds
July 19, 2024CFB Futures – 2024 Louisville Cardinals Win Total Odds
July 22, 2024Had the Texas Rangers been able to do a bit more damage against Roansy Contreras, we would’ve swept last Tuesday’s recommended MLB parlay picks. We were however lucky to cash the over of the Rangers team total after they pulled out the 5-4 win, but we knocked it out of the park with Max Scherzer who buried his pitching outs prop at BetMGM Sportsbook. We cashed the entire same game parlay in the Dodgers/Phillies matchup with Zach Wheeler earning the pitcher win and Philadelphia crushing its 4.5-run team total by taking Bobby Miller out behind the woodshed and serving up a good ‘ol fashioned curb stomping. Here’s to adding more units to the bankroll with another installment of same game parlay leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Atlanta Braves MLB Same Game Parlay:
The Reds invade Hotlanta fresh off getting swept at the hands of the Washington Nationals. While injuries have been a thorn in the side of this ball club since day one, there’s simply no excuse for Cincy to strikeout 29 times in three games against Nats pitching. Doing absolutely nothing with runners in scoring position throughout the series didn’t help matters either. There’s simply too much talent on the roster, even with the injuries, for the team to be six-games under the .500 mark to this point of the baseball betting season. Should things remain the same moving forward, it wouldn’t shock me in the least if some of their coaches were handed pink slips to stir things up.
It likely won’t get much better in the second game of this series with Elly De La Rosa and his mates set to stare back at Chris Sale who is the current +115 running favorite to take home the NL Cy Young Award at BetMGM. The Reds entered the All-Star break ranked No. 15 in team strikeout percentage. After the catastrophe that went down in the nation’s capital, they’re all the way down to 26th (24.5%). The weakened batting lineup gives the veteran a good opportunity to bounce back in the strikeout department after his recent underwhelming performance in Arizona where I faded his K prop. I’m changing my approach this time around and fully expect the lefty to be energized for his first assignment of the second half and put himself in a position to get into the win column for the 14th time of his 2024 campaign.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates MLB Same Game Parlay:
It’ll be Paul Skenes Day in the ‘Burgh Tuesday night when the rookie right-hander takes the bump to throw at the St. Louis Cardinals fresh off starting for the National League in the All-Star Game. The kid has been nothing short of outstanding through his first 11 Big League starts in going an unblemished 6-0 with a 1.90 ERA and miniscule 0.92 WHIP. Pittsburgh has cashed in on the MLB odds in each of his last two starts where he combined to throw 14 innings of 2 ER ball at the Mets and Brewers with a 19:3 K/BB ratio. He’ll be installed a decided favorite by BetMGM oddsmakers to lead the Buccos to the win in this spot, but I’ll test to see if he’s a man or machine and look for him to be a tad bit off his game coming off the first of many All-Star experiences.
The Redbirds have shown signs of life in recent weeks having taken down three of their last four series with at least three games played. I get that they just got to run up against Atlanta’s “B” team in terms of starting pitching, but taking two of three from the Braves is no small feat these days regardless of the batting lineup not fully intact. Lance Lynn isn’t an arm MLB bettors can consistently depend upon these days, but on occasions, the right-hander has proven to be more than serviceable. The veteran is fully aware of what the Pirates will march out against him tonight, and he’s done a pretty decent job of attacking their current bats holding Andrew McCutchen and Co. to a .238 batting average while racking up a 33:5 K/BB ratio. So long as he doesn’t kill himself with free passes against a Pirates lineup ranked 15th in walk percentage, I think he can produce a quality start that puts the Redbirds in line to potentially hand the rookie his first loss of the MLB betting season.
