CFB Futures – 2024 Clemson Tigers Win Total Odds
July 8, 2024CFB Futures – 2024 Colorado Buffaloes Win Total Odds
July 9, 2024A week removed from cashing all but one of six recommended MLB parlay picks, I only managed to cash one of six last Tuesday and I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out how the Brewers and Rockies each failed to light up Dallas Keuchel and Ryan Feltner. The full game over never had a shot with the Rockies winning 4-3 and still failing to go over their 4.5-run team total. The Orioles proved to be my kryptonite once again defeating the Mariners 2-0 behind a stellar showing from Grayson Rodriguez. Thankfully, George Kirby prevented us from taking the collar after only giving up 1 ER through 6.1 innings. Here’s to recouping some of those lost units at BetMGM Sportsbook with another edition of Tuesday parlay picks heading into the All-Star break – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies MLB Same Game Parlay:
The Dodgers and Phillies look destined for a collision course in the NLCS with both teams arguably the cream of the National League crop. LA enters this series fresh off taking two of three from the third best team in the NL and did so convincingly in the first two games before conceding Sunday’s getaway day finale. As solid Dave Roberts’ squad has been on the road (27-17, $62), I’m just not buying into Bobby Miller going into Citizens Bank and giving the team enough to get the best of a relentless Phillies squad that’s dominated all opposition at home as evidenced by winning a league-high 33 games ($520) in front of the hometown faithful. Miller will be installed a hefty underdog on the MLB odds in this matchup, and rightly so with the right-hander serving up 14 hits (3 HR) and 10 ER with a 7:9 K/BB ratio in three starts since returning from the IL.
I’ve seen Zack Wheeler toss a number of games throughout his 10-year MLB career, but only just saw him throw live for the first time this baseball betting season after throwing at my Cubs last Wednesday night. The dude was calm as a cucumber throughout, and more importantly, he commanded the strike zone and demanded getting the calls. He looked like a completely different pitcher than the one I’d seen so many times. I had my hesitations before, but now I fully understand why he’s the current favorite at Caesars to take home the NL Cy Young Award. Only two of his last 10 starts haven’t been of quality! He was robbed of a win by a shoddy home plate ump the last time he threw at CBP, so look for him to see this one all the way through and log his tenth win of the year against an opponent you know he’ll by sky high for.

Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels MLB Same Game Parlay:
The reigning World Series champions might be one of the bigger disappointments of the year for MLB bettors with the team six-games under .500 (-$907), but I got a feeling things will play out just a bit differently for Bruce Bochy’s squad moving forward now that it looks to have turned the corner in the health department. The starting rotation looks solidified with it reading as such: Jon Gray, Max Scherzer, Michael Lorenzen, Andrew Heaney, and Nathan Eovaldi. Though the team has only logged five wins in its last 10 games, it enters this three-game set with the division rival Halos playing some competitive ball. Of its five defeats during that stretch, one only came by more than two runs and it’ll take to the Big A’s turf fresh off a commanding sweep of a Tampa Bay squad that entered that set winners of five straight series.
While Max Scherzer hasn’t looked like his old self since returning to the starting rotation, the righty was forced to go up against some challenging offenses in the Royals, Orioles, and Padres in his first three starts. The Angels represent his easiest test to date, and it’s one I believe he passes with LA ranked in the back half of the league in some of the most pertinent of stat categories. I’m expecting his deepest outing of the season because of it. It’s tough to gauge Texas’ advantage at the plate not knowing who LA will throw at them at the time of this writing, but whomever it is won’t be very good with the Angels ranked 25th in the quality start department and the bullpen ranked No. 28 overall. On the flipside, Texas’ pen has shown improvement from its 24th ranked bullpen ERA (4.43) with the unit ranked ninth over the last two weeks (3.32 ERA).
Call me crazy, but I don’t think Texas is out of the AL West race by any stretch of the imagination. It’s only six games back heading into the week as well as 7.5-games out of a wild-card slot. This is a game and series the Rangers must win if it’s to continue building momentum heading into the break. With that, I’m taking some beer money fliers at BetMGM for the reigning champs to win the division (+1600) and punch a ticket to the postseason (+650) with the AL West completely up for grabs in my honest opinion.
