MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Sunday, June 23
June 21, 2024College Football Betting – CFB Futures Odds
June 25, 2024Had Bailey Falter allowed just one more earned run, we would’ve swept last Tuesday’s MLB parlay picks! Fortunately, Nick Lodolo did his thing registering 8 K en route to leading the Reds to the 2-1 win against the Pirates which represented Cincy’s lone triumph of the series. We then went out and nailed the handicap of the Giants/Cubs nightcap with Logan Webb and Justin Steele partaking in a pitcher’s duel that resulted in a low scorer as expected allowing us to cash the full 3-leg same game parlay in at BetMGM Sportsbook. Here’s to the baseball gods still feeling charitable for Tuesday’s edition of MLB parlay picks – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers MLB Same Game Parlay:
Cy Young Award favorites lock up Tuesday night in Motown where Ranger Suarez will take the bump for the visiting Phillies with Tarik Skubal set to go for the host Tigers. The former currently sits only in back of teammate Zack Wheeler to win the NL Cy Young with a +350 return on the current MLB futures odds, while the latter is the running +220 choice to take home bragging rights in the American League. Since getting ripped for 4 ER and a home run in Coors to close out the month of May, Suarez has been nearly untouchable in June pitching to a 1.77 ERA by way of only conceding 20 hits (1 HR) and 4 ER to go along with an impressive 18:3 K/BB ratio. Another solid showing is expected against a Tigers offense that, save for Riley Greene, has been allergic to hitting the sinker this season with a number of bats sporting negative run values against the pitch type per Baseball Savant.
I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with Detroit’s staff ace right now. The lefty has taken losses in each of his last two turns mostly due to giving up damaging hits when they mattered most. In back-to-back shutout losses to the Astros and Braves, the southpaw combined to give up 13 hits (3 HR) and 8 ER over 10.1 combined innings of work. That being said, he still went on to tally 7 K in his last start against Atlanta, and will now oppose a Phillies bunch with a similar K rate (21.3%). He’s also been at his absolute best at home (2.01 ERA) and under the lights (1.77 ERA) with the left-hander logging 10.4 and 8.9 strikeouts per nine innings respectively. Look for this pitcher’s duel to play to form on the board with each hurler in line to cash their respective player props.

San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs MLB Same Game Parlay:
Austin Gomber is an arm I’ve faded on the MLB odds a handful of times this baseball betting season, and I’ll continue that trend in the series opener when he takes the mound for his 15th start against Houston. The left-hander has a record of 1-4 with a 4.36 ERA, giving up 14 home runs in 76.1 innings pitched. That translates to an average of 1.7 home runs per nine innings, with seven of those coming in road games where he’s been lit up to the tune of a .281 batting average against while serving up 45 hits and 23 ER through 41 total innings. Following an off day, the Astros will return to the field fresh off a series sweep of Baltimore having peppered Orioles pitching for 27 total runs over the three-game set. That spells trouble for Gomber whose seen the opposition combine for 40 runs in his five made June starts!
Since only managing to lead his teammates to one win through five May tries, Hunter Brown has nearly been perfect in the month of June spearheading the Astros charge to a 3-1 record in his four June starts. In the process, the right-hander has only conceded 19 hits (3 HR) and 4 ER with a stellar 29:5 K/BB ratio through 25.0 total innings of work. The opposition faced wasn’t the greatest in the Angels, Tigers, and White Sox, but Colorado’s offense hasn’t been great either and I expect the righty to get ample support from his offense in this, his 15th start of the MLB betting season. Brown has been at his best within Minute Maid where he stands 2-2 with a 3.92 ERA and .222 batting average against. While not sold on his stuff against upper echelon offenses, the Rockies aren’t cut from that cloth so I’m comfortable backing the home team as hot the sticks Yordan Alvarez and co are swinging right now.
