MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Thursday, July 25
July 23, 2024LIV Golf UK Odds and Picks
July 24, 2024The beginning of a nightmarish three-day stretch began with Wednesday’s MLB parlay picks when I failed to cash a single leg over six tries. The bloodbath began early in the day when the heavily favored Twins only mustered a 3-2 win against the White Sox with Pablo Lopez coming up dreadfully short of exceeding his K prop at Caesars Sportsbook. Though Minnesota ultimately won, it failed to cover the run-line or topple its 4.5-run team total. Then we sat back and watched what I figured would be a pitcher’s duel turn into a slugfest with neither Chris Bassitt nor Logan Webb long for the festivities. It was an ugly showing I hope to bounce back from with this week’s assortment of Hump Day SGP leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Minnesota Twins MLB Same Game Parlay:
With the Phillies trotting out Ranger Suarez, Zack Wheeler, and Aaron Nola over the course of the three-game set with the Twins, I can’t help but think the latter will be in a position to propel the NL East leaders to the series sweep as badly the right-hander looked in his first assignment out of the All-Star break. I don’t know who took the mound in Pittsburgh last Friday, but it wasn’t the cagey vet that had gone at least six innings and allowed three or fewer runs in his previous five starts. It was so bad that Rob Thomson hooked him in the fifth after only throwing 80 pitches which amounted to the fewest pitches he’s thrown in a start all year.
Fully rested and out to snag his twelfth win of the year on the road where he clocks in 6-1 with a 3.67 ERA, I fully expect Nola to bounce back here against an injury-ravaged Twins lineup that’s gone for four or fewer runs six of the last seven times it stepped between the lines. Louis Varland is supposedly getting called back up from St. Paul to make this start. Should that come to pass, it’ll be bombs away for Bryce Harper and Co. with the right-hander serving up 11.4 hits and 3.5 walks through 26.0 innings thrown in the Big Leagues this season. If he makes the start, the Phillies hammering their team total is the position to stake against the MLB odds!
- NOLA TO EARN THE PITCHER WIN
- PHILLIES OVER TEAM TOTAL
- NOLA OVER TOTAL OUTS RECORDED
Chicago White Sox vs. Texas Rangers MLB Same Game Parlay:
Sticking with the theme of stud pitchers faltering in their first start out of the break, Nathan Eovaldi just might have taken the cake after getting demolished by the Baltimore Orioles in what undoubtedly served up a wakeup call to the veteran right-hander. After allowing 13 hits (1 HR) and 3 ER through his first three July starts against the Padres, Rays, and Astros, Eovaldi was ripped for eight hits (3 HR) and 6 ER and only lasted five innings against the O’s after pitching through the seventh in each of his prior four starts. While the fastball velocity was down a tad and he couldn’t get Baltimore to offer at his splitter, I expect a return to form here against a Palehose offense that continues to be the joke of the league. It just tallied a single run in all three losses to the Royals over the weekend to enter Monday’s opener in Arlington averaging a paltry 3.1 runs per game (#32).
Even with the bludgeoning at the hands of the Orioles, Eovaldi still clocks in 5-1 with a 2.69 ERA and .184 batting average against through 11 made starts in front of the hometown faithful. Though Texas’ bats haven’t been overpowering throughout the recent winning stretch that’s seen it cash in against the baseball betting odds 10 of the last 16 times, Adolis Garcia and his mates should have no issue getting to Chris Flexen whose allowed 22 hits and 14 ER through 22.2 July innings pitched. We faded the righty in his last start in Kansas City. Though it proved to be the only losing parlay leg recommended for the day, it was because he offered up five free passes. Still, he was saddled with 7 ER allowed and took his ninth loss of the season. If ever there was a spot the Rangers lineup could flex its muscles and hang a crooked number, this is it!
- EOVALDI TO EARN THE PITCHER WIN
- RANGERS OVER TEAM TOTAL
- FLEXEN OVER HITS ALLOWED
