The NFL Week 16 parlays were successful with two of the parlays coming through which meant a profitable Week 16. It should be noted, however, that one of those parlays, the underdog parlay, went down to just a single play, as we got a push on the game between Seattle and Minnesota, while winning with Dallas. The favorites parlay was an easy winner, as both Indianapolis and Green Bay rolled to big wins. The two losing parlays were the Line Moves Parlay and the Go Against the Public Parlay. We have said in the past that if we can win just one of our four parlays each week we’ll almost break even and when we hit more than one parlay we’ll do well because two-team NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. NFL Week 16 Underdogs Parlay Recap

The Seahawks lost to the Vikings by three points which meant we got a push on that game. Seattle had every chance to beat the Vikings, but Geno Smith is simply not a good quarterback and Seattle makes too many mistakes to be seriously considered as a playoff team. The Vikings ended up winning 27-24. The other half of the parlay was never in doubt, as the Cowboys led from start to finish against the Bucs as 4-point underdogs. Dallas won 26-24 to give us a winner.

NFL Week 16 Favorites Parlay Recap

The favorites parlay was an easy winner, as the Colts dominated the Titans, winning 38-30 in a game that was not as close as the final scored indicated. The Titans scored 15 points in the fourth quarter to make the game respectable, but Indy was never in any danger. The other half of the parlay was one of the easiest winners of the season, as Green Bay completely throttled New Orleans on Monday night, winning 34-0.

The line move parlay never had much of a chance, as Arizona lost outright to the Panthers as four-point favorites. It was a 36-30 win for Carolina that eliminated Arizona from playoff contention. The other half of the parlay lost as well with San Francisco losing 29-17 in Miami.

The go-against the public parlay never had a shot, as Cleveland was dominated after an early turnover, losing 24-6 at Cincinnati. The other half of the parlay also lost, as the Jets were beaten 19-9 by the Rams.

It was another 1-3 week with the NFL parlays last week and that meant a slight losing week for the parlays but it could have been better. The loss on the favorites parlay with the Commanders and Falcons really hurt because the referees inexplicably stopped the clock for New Orleans, giving the Saints extra time that they used to score with no time left to cost us a push, while the Falcons won and covered their game against the Raiders. It is always dangerous to go against the Vikings with the way they are playing, but Seattle has an extra day of rest, they are at home and I think they will be much better this week after last week’s disgrace against the Packers

Dallas Cowboys +4 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I know that Baker Mayfield and the Bucs are playing great so there is some risk taking the Cowboys but Cooper Rush has played well and Dallas has actually been a better team with him at quarterback even though Dak Prescott is the better player. I think the Cowboys will keep this close and have a chance to win.

NFL Week 16 Favorites Parlay

Indianapolis Colts -4 vs. Tennessee Titans

The Colts season may have ended last week with Jonathan Taylor giving away a touchdown but they are still well coached and there is next to nothing to like about Tennessee right now. I think this number is actually low, so I will lay the points and take the Colts.

Green Bay Packers -13.5 vs. New Orleans Saints

I debated on what other team to take as a favorite this week since I don’t like playing favorites for the most part. I went against the Saints last week and they found a way to keep it close against Washington. I don’t see that happening on the road in Green Bay against a Packers team that looks really good.

Arizona Cardinals -4 at Carolina Panthers

The line move in this game is on Arizona, as they opened a 3.5-point favorite and the line is up to 4.5 in many places. We follow the line move and take the Cardinals in this one.

San Francisco 49ers +1.5 at Miami Dolphins

The line move on this one is to the 49ers in a battle of two teams that were expected to make the playoffs and now likely won’t. The line opened at 2.5 and is down to 1.5 so we follow and take the 49ers.

The public is on the Bengals in this must-win game for Cincinnati against a Cleveland team that is falling apart. The Bengals don’t have much of a defense so perhaps Cleveland can keep this close.
