NFL Week 18 Parlay Picks Recap

When it came to NFL parlay picks this season we were really consistent. It was either 2-2 with the parlays or 1-3 in most weeks. We did go 3-1 in Week 4 for a banner week but we gave back that huge week by going winless in Week 5. It was another 1-3 week with the NFL parlay picks in Week 18. The strategy of going with four two-team NFL parlays has been a decent one this season. We have said in the past that if we can win just one of our four parlays each week we’ll almost break even and when we hit more than one parlay we’ll do well because two-team NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. We’ll be happy if we can hit half of our NFL parlays on a weekly basis and we have done that a few times already this season. Let’s recap NFL parlays for Week 18.

NFL Week 18 Underdogs Parlay Recap

The underdog parlay was a loser, as the Vikings played poorly in a loss to Detroit on Monday night. The first half of the parlay did win with Dallas covering the spread, but it was all for naught as the Vikings were outplayed and outcoached by the Lions.

NFL Week 18 Favorites Parlay Recap

The favorites parlay was a winner yet again. Somewhat surprisingly, the favorites parlay has been one of the best ones this season. We had the Broncos over the Chiefs and they completely dominated Kansas City, winning 38-0.  The other half of the parlay was also a winner with the Seahawks winning by five points and when we released the parlay the line was four. Hopefully you got in early, as I know the Seahawks ended up about a TD favorite.

NFL Week 18 Line Moves Parlay Recap

The line moves parlay was a loser even though Houston won against Tennessee. The Titans were simply pathetic this season and the worst team against the spread in recent NFL history. The other half of the parlay didn’t come through as the Bills lost at New England.

NFL Week 18 Go Against the Public Parlay Recap

This parlay definitely had a chance but the Giants played poorly and lost to the Philadelphia 2^nd string. The Giants should have been able to win this one, but when you have Drew Lock as your starting quarterback you know you are in trouble. The other half of the parlay was a winner with the Jets winning outright against Miami.

Dallas Cowboys +4.5 vs. Washington Commanders

I know that Washington plans to play their starters in this one, but how motivated are the players to improve seeding? The game really means nothing to Washington and the Washington defense hasn’t been anything special all season. I think the Cowboys will finish well for McCarthy so I’ll take the points.

Minnesota Vikings +2.5 at Detroit Lions

This game should be a shootout and in a game that will feature a lot of back-and-forth action, I’ll take the points. The Detroit defense is a huge liability for the Lions right now and I think Minnesota can trade points with Detroit and keep this game close.

NFL Week 18 Favorites Parlay

Denver Broncos -10 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

This parlay is all about going against the second string. The Broncos can clinch a playoff spot with a win and they will get the chance against the Kansas City backups. This is a lot of points but Kansas City has no incentive at all to win this game or even to keep it close.

Seattle Seahawks -4 at Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are going to rest their starters in advance of the playoffs so this should be a game that Seattle wins. The Seahawks had plenty of chances to win the division this season but let them slip away. I still expect Seattle to try and win this game against the second string of the Rams.

NFL Week 18 Line Moves Parlay

Houston Texans +1 at Tennessee Titans

The line move in this one is all about the Texans as the line opened with Tennessee a 5-point favorite and now is down to one. Oddsmakers must have assumed that Houston would be resting their starters but that is not the case, as the Houston starters are expected to play. Tennessee is a rotten team anyway, so taking Houston is definitely worth considering, as the Texans want to play well after last week’s debacle.

Buffalo Bills -3 at New England Patriots

The Bills opened as a one-point favorite and the line is up to -3. Buffalo is not playing their starters for long, so I am not sure why the line has gone toward the Bills but that is the case, so we follow the line move and take Buffalo.

NFL Week 18 Go Against the Public Parlay

New York Giants +3 at Philadelphia Eagles

The public is going against the New York teams in their last regular season game. The Giants have been terrible this season, but the Eagles have nothing to play for and you have to think the starters won’t play long. The question is whether or not Saquon Barkley plays as he attempts to break the NFL rushing record. We go against the public and take the Giants.

New York Jets +1 vs. Miami Dolphins
