NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks Recap

I made some adjustments to the parlays after the first two weeks and it resulted in two parlay wins. The NFL Week 3 favorites parlay was a winner, as Baltimore held on to beat Dallas while the Colts beat the Bears. The new parlay, the go-against the public parlay was also a winner and it was the easiest winner of the week, as the Panthers crushed the Raiders and the Broncos rolled over the Bucs.  The underdog parlay never really had a shot when Justin Herbert got hurt for the Chargers, while the line moves parlay split, as Miami was never competitive against Seattle.  But we’ll take 2-2 with the parlays every time, as that means a nice winning week with two-team NFL parlays paying 2.6-1. Let’s break down the Week 3 parlay results.

NFL Week 3 Favorites Parlay Recap

It was nice to get a win with the favorites parlay, but it did get a little closer than we wanted. The Ravens got out to a big lead against Dallas and then had to hang on for a three-point win. We were only laying a point so it was still a good win. The Colts also didn’t have an easy time with the Bears but Indianapolis pulled out the five point win laying just 1.5 points.

Los Angeles Chargers +2 at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Chargers and Steelers game was simply ugly. The Chargers did next to nothing on offense and once Herbert got injured, they were basically done. The Steelers were great on defense and that was the difference in their 10-point win. The other half of the underdog parlay was an easy winner as Green Bay dominated Tennessee, winning 26-7,

NFL Week 3 Line Moves Parlay Recap

The Dolphins with Skylar Thompson were simply hopeless on offense. He got hurt and it wasn’t any better with Tim Boyle. Miami needs to go to Tyler Huntley or trade for a quarterback, as they are unlikely to win games with Tua hurt and with Thompson or Boyle.  The other half of the parlay was an easy winner, as Carolina with Andy Dalton actually looked like a good team and they crushed the Raiders.

NFL Week 3 Go Against the Public Parlay Recap

I should have been putting this parlay into the mix from the start and it will be a regular every single week going forward. The Panthers were a great go-against the public pick and they dominated the Raiders from start to finish. It was the same thing with Denver going into Tampa and rolling over the Bucs.

NFL Week 3 parlay picks are ready to roll with four two-team parlays. You would think it would be hard to go exactly 1-1 on every parlay for two straight weeks but that is exactly what has happened. The underdog parlay was a huge success in the preseason but it has yet to hit through the first two weeks of the NFL regular season. The favorites parlay has been close to hitting, but can’t seem to catch a break and the line moves parlay has yet to hit. It is only two weeks into the regular season, but just like NFL teams that are 0-2, Week 3 is of the utmost importance. Let’s turn the corner with a big NFL Week 3 with the NFL parlay picks and I’ll make one change this week and add a Go Against the public parlay.

Baltimore Ravens -1 at Dallas Cowboys

Could the Ravens actually start the season 0-3? It is definitely possible, but I still think they are a good team and I know that John Harbaugh is a better coach than Mike McCarthy. I’ll lay the small number and take the Ravens.

Indianapolis Colts -1.5 vs. Chicago Bears

I have to admit that I am surprised the Colts have struggled to start the season. I think Shane Steichen is a good coach and Indianapolis has enough talent to win games. This is simply a must-win game for the Colts and I think they get it at home against Chicago.

Los Angeles Chargers +2 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Count me among the believers in the Chargers and among those that don’t believe in the Steelers. I do think the Steelers are better off with Justin Fields rather than Russell Wilson, but I think the Chargers are the better team and they are catching points.

Green Bay Packers +2 at Tennessee Titans

Call this the Malik Willis bowl. The sad part for the Titans is that Willis may be a better quarterback than the one they have now, as Will Levis looks awful. I don’t see Levis turning things around and I think the Packers win this one outright with Willis as their quarterback.

NFL Week 3 Line Moves Parlay

Miami Dolphins +5 at Seattle Seahawks

The public is backing the Dolphins at home in this one even though Tua is out. I think the oddsmakers overreacted on this one, as Miami is still a good team and it is not like the Seahawks are world beaters.

Carolina Panthers +5.5 at Las Vegas Raiders

The odds have moved toward the Panthers in this one with the news that Bryce Young has been benched in favor of Andy Dalton. It is still risky to take a bad Carolina team but the line move is going that way, so we take Carolina.

NFL Week 3 Go Against the Public Parlay

Carolina Panthers +5.5 at Las Vegas Raiders

I am going to throw in a parlay here that goes against the public. The odds on the Panthers and Raiders have moved toward Carolina, but the public still is going against Carolina and taking the Raiders. This one is risky, but we’ll take a flyer on Carolina plus the points.

Denver Broncos (+7) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
