October 23, 2024NFL Week 8 Parlay Picks Recap
It was another winning week for the NFL parlay picks in Week 8. The NFL Week 8 parlay picks had two of the parlays hit and that meant a profitable week. We have said that winning just one of the four parlays almost gets us to break even and when we win at least two of the parlays we have a good week and that is what happened in Week 8. The underdog parlay was a winner again, as the Cardinals and Commanders won outright as underdogs. The other winning parlay was the line moves parlay with Cleveland winning outright as a big underdog against Baltimore, while Denver rolled over Carolina. Let’s recap NFL Week 8 parlay picks.
NFL Week 8 Favorites Parlay Recap
The favorites parlay never had a chance as the Jets were pathetic once again and lost outright to the Patriots. It is definitely time to avoid taking New York. The other half of the parlay had a chance but the Chiefs gave up a late score and the Raiders covered the spread, so the favorites parlay was a loser.
NFL Week 8 Underdogs Parlay Recap
The underdog parlay was a winner once again as both underdogs won outright. The Cardinals and Dolphins went back and forth and it was Arizona coming out on top in the end. The other half of the parlay was very similar as the Commanders and Bears traded scores with Washington coming out on top.
NFL Week 8 Line Moves Parlay Recap
The line moves parlay was an easy winner this past week. The line move had the Browns plus the points and Cleveland was in control against Baltimore virtually the entire game and they not only covered the big spread, they won outright. The Browns actually looked competent now that Deshaun Watson is on the bench. Jameis Winston is not a great quarterback but at least he can make plays. The other half of the parlay was never in doubt as Denver rolled over Carolina. The Panthers were at least competitive with Andy Dalton at quarterback but it was Bryce Young this past week and Carolina was awful yet again.
NFL Week 8 Go Against the Public Parlay Recap
This parlay split as the Rams played well and got a win against the Vikings in the Thursday night game. It was a nice start to the parlay but the second half of the parlay never had any chance, as Tennessee was completely overmatched against Detroit. The Titans are not a good team and they were never competitive against the Lions.
NFL Week 8 Parlay Picks
The NFL Week 8 parlay picks are ready to roll after another winning week, as two of our four parlays cashed in Week 7. The strategy of going with four two-team NFL parlays has proven to be successful so far and last week it was two of the parlays coming through, as the favorites parlay and the underdogs parlay were winners. We have said in the past that if we can win just one of our four parlays each week we’ll almost break even and when we hit more than one parlay we’ll do well because two-team NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. The go against the public parlay did not fare well in Week 7 so I would expect a bounce back in Week 8. Here are NFL Week 8 parlay picks.

NFL Week 8 Favorites Parlay
New York Jets -7 at New England Patriots
I know that Aaron Rodgers and the Jets haven’t looked good, but I don’t like the Patriots at all. I think New England is one of the worst teams in the NFL and they have major issues on both side of the ball and on the sideline. I don’t think the Jets are done yet and this is the game they need to start turning the corner.
Kansas City Chiefs -10 at Las Vegas Raiders
I backed the Chiefs last week as an underdog in San Francisco and this week I like them at the Raiders. Kansas City is simply loaded and they have a huge edge in this game with Mahomes going against Minshew. I don’t think this one will be close so I will take the Chiefs.
NFL Week 8 Underdogs Parlay
Arizona Cardinals +3 at Miami Dolphins
I am shocked that the Dolphins are favored in this game. What have they done to deserve to be laying points to anyone other than rotten New England? The Cardinals are well coached and I think Miami has more problems than just Tua being hurt and I don’t know that his returns solves things. I’ll take the points with Arizona.
Washington Commanders +2.5 vs. Chicago Bears
I am also surprised at this number. I think the Commanders are the better team and yet they are getting points at home. I know that Daniels may not play, but I think Washington will want to make up for his loss if he misses this game and Mariota is not a bad quarterback. I’ll take the points with Washington at home.
NFL Week 8 Line Moves Parlay
Cleveland Browns +9 vs. Baltimore Ravens
This line has moved toward Cleveland and I guess it makes sense, as anyone would be better than Watson at quarterback for Cleveland. It is risky to go against Baltimore, but the line move is on the Browns so we take Cleveland.
Denver Broncos -8.5 vs. Carolina Panthers
The public likes the Broncos and can’t stand the Panthers so this one makes sense. The number opened at 7.5 and is up to 8.5 or 9. We just follow the line move and take the Broncos here.
NFL Week 8 Go Against the Public Parlay
Los Angeles Rams +3 vs. Minnesota Vikings
The public is all over the Vikings in this Thursday night game. I am a bit tepid in playing Thursday games, but the public has a very strong opinion in this one, so we go against the public and take the Rams.
Tennessee Titans +11 at Detroit Lions
The public loves Detroit and can’t stand Tennessee so this game makes sense. It is a lot of points and double-digit numbers are usually tough to cover, so we go against the public and take the Titans plus the points.
