October 31, 2024NFL Week 9 Parlay Picks Recap
The NFL Week 9 parlays went 1-3 with the favorites parlay coming through while the other three parlays were losers. We have said that if we win just one of our four parlays we almost break even since NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. We had been on a nice run of going 2-2 each week but last week it was 1-3 with the favorites parlay coming through as the one parlay winner. It easily could have been another 2-2 week if Joe Flacco knew how to play quarterback but the Colts fell short against the Vikings, costing us the Go-Against the Public parlay. The underdog parlay and the line moves parlays both lost and neither parlay really had much of a chance. Let’s recap NFL Week 9 parlay results.
NFL Week 9 Favorites Parlay Recap
The favorites parlay was a winner last week, as the Commanders came through laying the points against the Giants, while the Lions took care of the Packers. The Washington game was somewhat in doubt for a little while, but the Commanders were the better team and anytime you can go against Daniel Jones and Brian Daboll you have a chance to win. A missed two-point try for the Giants was a big key with the Commanders winning by five points and covering the 3.5-point number. The Lions are the best team in the NFC and they looked the part, as they went into Green Bay and dominated the Lions, easily covering the 3.5-point spread.
NFL Week 9 Underdogs Parlay Recap
The underdog parlay never had a chance as the Cowboys were never really competitive against Atlanta. Dallas is a team in trouble and the injury to Dak Prescott definitely didn’t help. The other half of the NFL parlay had the Seahawks plus the points against the Rams. That was a game that could have gone either way and the Rams won in overtime.
NFL Week 9 Line Moves Parlay Recap
The line move parlay never had much of a chance, as the Saints lost outright to the Panthers. New Orleans is not a good team and after the game they fired head coach Dennis Allen. The other half of the parlay was a winner, as the Rams beat Seattle in overtime.
NFL Week 9 Go Against the Public Parlay Recap
The Go Against the Public parlay started off well with the Dolphins covering the spread against the Bills. Miami scored late to tie the game but then lost by three point on a last second field goal by the Bills but they covered the 6-point football betting number. The other half of the parlay was a frustrating loss, as the Colts had every chance to beat the Vikings and didn’t. Joe Flacco played poorly and even with the Indianapolis defense playing great, the Colts still couldn’t cover the spread against the Vikings.
NFL Week 9 Parlay Picks
The NFL Week 9 parlay picks are ready to roll after another winning week, as two of our four parlays cashed in Week 8. The strategy of going with four two-team NFL parlays has proven to be successful so far and last week it was two of the parlays coming through, as the underdogs parlay won yet again and the line moves parlay was also a winner. We have said in the past that if we can win just one of our four parlays each week we’ll almost break even and when we hit more than one parlay we’ll do well because two-team NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. We’ll be happy if we can continue to hit half of our parlays. Here are NFL Week 9 parlay picks.

NFL Week 9 Favorites Parlay
Washington Commanders -3.5 at New York Giants
The Commanders are a good team and the Giants are a bad team. Sometimes it is as simple as that. I want nothing to do with a team that has Daniel Jones at quarterback and Brian Daboll as head coach. I’ll lay the points and take Washington.
Detroit Lions -3.5 at Green Bay Packers
The Lions look like one of the best teams in the NFL and there is no reason they can’t go on the road and beat Green Bay. The Packers may have Jordan Love back this week or he might be held out, but regardless, I think Green Bay will struggle on offense either way with a limited Love or with Malik Willis. I’ll lay the points and take Detroit.
NFL Week 9 Underdogs Parlay
Dallas Cowboys +2.5 at Atlanta Falcons
It is always risky to take the Cowboys, but the Atlanta defense isn’t any good and Dallas should be able to score. I think this will be a high scoring game and the points are worth taking.
Seattle Seahawks +1.5 vs. Los Angeles Rams
I was shocked when I saw Seattle getting points at home in this game. I know Seattle hasn’t played that well of late but it wasn’t as bad as it looked last week against the Bills. And are the Rams really good enough to be laying points on the road. And I know the line move is against me in this one as we’ll see in another parlay, but I am taking the points with Seattle.
NFL Week 9 Line Moves Parlay
New Orleans Saints -7 at Carolina Panthers
The public wants nothing to do with the Panthers and who can blame them. Carolina is a bad team and even at home there is no reason to like them. The line move is on the Saints, as they opened at 5.5 and the number is now 7, so we take New Orleans.
Los Angeles Rams -1.5 at Seattle Seahawks
It won’t happen that often but there will be some instances in the parlays where we have a play that goes against one of our other picks. I like the Seahawks plus the points and I took them in the underdog parlay. The line moves parlay is not about opinion, it is about the line move, period. In this case the line move is on the Rams, as they opened as a 1.5 point dog and they are now favored, so we take them here.
NFL Week 9 Go Against the Public Parlay
Miami Dolphins +6 at Buffalo Bills
The public is on the Bills this week against the Dolphins. I know that Buffalo rolled over Seattle last week, but that game could have been a lot different, as a couple of key plays early turned the tide. The Dolphins have Tua back and now they can score. The public is on the Bills so we take Miami plus the points.
Indianapolis Colts +6 at Minnesota Vikings
The public is on the Vikings in the Sunday night game. The Colts have been up and down this season but they haven’t looked that bad and they are catching a lot of points in this one. The public likes the Vikings so we take the points with Indianapolis.Bet Week 9 NFL Games at BetMGM.
