November 15, 2024Oilers vs. Maple Leafs Same Game Parlay Recap – November 16, 2024
It was a split on Saturday night for our NHL parlay. The Edmonton Oilers failed to deliver in a 4-3 overtime NHL Betting road loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the game did go over the total. We took the Edmonton Oilers -141 and the game to go over 6.
Mitch Marner scored 40 seconds into overtime, and the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday. After breaking up an Oilers rush in the defensive zone, Marner, who also had an assist in the game, carried the puck on a 2-on-1 with John Tavares and shot blocker side on Stuart Skinner for the NHL betting win.

“I just saw back pressure, just tried to play the (Oilers) 2-on-1 as best I could and try to read the pass,” Marner said. “Luckily I was able to do it and then just tried to jump up the ice quickly and realized I had John and saw an opening and took it. It felt good, you try to play with excitement and fun out there, and those are games you kind of live for.”
It was the 200th career goal for Marner, who leads Toronto with 24 points (six goals, 18 assists) this NHL Picks Today season.
“He was excellent,” Toronto coach Craig Berube said. “He did so much good in all facets of the game, penalty kill, power play, 5-on-5. He did a great job of breaking up that 2-on-1 on that play and going the other way and scoring… He wanted to get his 200th tonight, so he got it.”
Bobby McMann scored twice, and Anthony Stolarz made 27 saves for the Maple Leafs, who have won two in a row and five of their past six.

Oilers at Maple Leafs Same Game Parlay
Last year, the Edmonton Oilers were one win short of the Stanley Cup championship. That defeat is supposed to serve as rocket fuel for a repeat NHL Betting run come playoff time. So far this season, the Oilers have struggled based largely on Connor McDavid missing time with an injury. McDavid is back in the lineup and gamblers are expecting more production at the payout window in the days ahead. The Toronto Maple Leafs are showing tighter checking for new head coach Craig Berube, which is why he was hired.
