NHL Picks – Saturday, February 11 Parlay Picks
February 9, 2023UFC 284: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski Picks
February 9, 2023When taking a glance at the most up to date Pomeroy Ratings, the Pac-12 only has four teams ranked within the top-50. Two teams rank out within the top-10 while the other pair is ranked in the 40-50 range. I’ll let you attempt to decipher who those teams are. Hint – all you got to do is take a gander at the current Pac-12 futures odds! With only two losses in conference play and only eight games remaining on the docket, the UCLA Bruins are the current -210 favorites to take home regular season bragging rights for the first time since the 2012-13 season. But is it that cut and dry? I’m not exactly sold…
The options are limited right now with only six teams offering up betting odds to win the regular season title with a limited amount of games remaining and half the division only having the Pac-12 tournament to look forward to in hopes of punching a ticket to the Big Dance. If not UCLA, than whom should we invest in at BetRivers Sportsbook? One team to buy and another to sell are listed below.

Having split the regular season rivalry with the Wildcats and an opportunity to do the same with the Bruins coming up this weekend, Dana Altman’s troops are certainly worth taking a beer money flier on at the current 100-1 return on investment. I wouldn’t throw a mortgage payment on it or anything, but the payoff certainly makes it interesting. Should Oregon find a way to go undefeated to close out this week at home against USC and UCLA, it will certainly have a say in how the regular season title shakes out with it set to square off against the dregs of the conference the rest of the way.
Does it get any juicier than this: @Washington, @Wazzou, @Oregon State, Cal, Stanford. Four of those seven games come in the comforts of Matthew Knight Arena where Will Richardson and Co. stand 11-5 SU for the season. Since dropping a 90-73 head scratcher as 4-point favorites against Arizona State, the Quack Attack has rattled off three straight wins in front of the hometown faithful against Arizona, Colorado, and Utah (2-0-1 ATS). Save for giving up 91 points to the Cats in the desert, Oregon’s defense has been locked in conceding just over 65 points a game in its last six!
While the team comes with warts, the Oregon Ducks implied probability of less than one percent to win this conference doesn’t add up should it shock us all and win out. I’d go rustle up all the change you got in your couch and throw it Oregon’s way just in case this conference refuses to play out the way linemakers envision.
SELL: Arizona Wildcats +160
I recommended buying in on Tommy Lloyd’s kids when they dropped two of three to Washington State and Oregon in the middle of January. The team’s rate of return clocked in at +800 back then. Now that Azuolas Tubelis and Co. have rattled off six straight wins and covered the closing CBB odds at a 5-1 clip in those contests, there simply isn’t enough meat on the bone for me to get involved with what’s envisioned to be a coin flip for bragging rights with the UCLA Bruins.
But if you do think the Pac-12 title ultimately comes down to the regular season finale at Pauley Pavilion, by all means grab a piece of the Arizona Wildcats at the current offering since you won’t be getting anywhere near +160 on the moneyline if in fact the regular season title ultimately comes down to that lone game. I wouldn’t bat an eye if you did considering how attractive the end of season schedule looks to be on paper. Zona is @Cal and @Stanford this week before closing it out against Colorado, Arizona State, @USC, and @UCLA. Personally, I feel that final week will be the death knell for the Cats hopes and dreams of winning back-to-back regular season Pac-12 titles.
