December 28, 2021Last week we touched on the top power favorites to win Super Bowl LVI. The Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the top-tier Super Bowl Predictions. But as we know with the NFL Playoffs, the best team doesn’t always win. And that leads to the next level of teams capable of beating anyone on any given Sunday. And these teams come with a much better price than the Big Three. The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and New England Patriots are all commanding the attention of sharps.

Buffalo Bills +850
Last year the Buffalo Bills fell one win short of a berth in the Super Bowl. As a result, the Bills were a hot Super Bowl Bets item in the summer’s future market. And then, following a 4-1 start to the 2021 season combined with the terrible start of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills were the hottest brand going. But Buffalo lost five of the next eight games that followed, busting bankrolls and scaring their desperate fan base.
However, the Bills may be getting back into gear down the stretch. Buffalo is riding a two-game winning streak and beat the upstart New England Patriots 33-21 as 1-point road dogs in a first-place showdown in the AFC East. Buffalo’s metrics are impressive and indicative of a balanced team. The Bills rank 6th for total offense, 3rd for scoring offense, 1st for total defense, and 3rd for points allowed. Those are Super Bowl champion-type numbers.
Los Angeles Rams +900
For most of the season, the Arizona Cardinals were the toast of the NFC West and a bona fide Super Bowl favorite. But the Los Angeles Rams fans have passed the Cardinals for the NFC West lead. Los Angeles is on a four-game winning streak and peaking at the perfect time.
Head coach Sean McVay is looking smarter by the hour for trading quarterback Jared Goff for veteran Detroit Lions castoff Matthew Stafford. Stafford is thriving in McVay’s system, and the LA coach is starting to look like the genius he was made out to be in the 2018 campaign. One concern is that the Rams defense is not as stout as last year.
Dallas Cowboys +1000
Owner Jerry Jones draw plenty of heat for being a Hall of Fame businessman but a wannabe football executive. However, Jones deserves grudging credit, even from his harshest critics, for the strong Odds to win the Super Bowl turnaround of the Dallas Cowboys this season.
The Dallas defense has gone from defenseless in 2020 to solid and, at times, reliable in 2021. Jones has bragged that the Dallas defensive front is as good as their teams in the early 1990s that won three Super Bowls.
Offensively, quarterback Dak Prescott is reminding everyone why he got the big fat contract despite coming off a season-ending injury last season. Is Dallas a complete enough team to win the Super Bowl? That doesn’t remain very likely. But there is enough here to make it possible and keep enemy coaches sleepless.
New England Patriots +1500
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has again proven to be the smartest man in the room. In the 2021 NFL Draft, Mac Jones was originally the third-ranked quarterback. But then the pajama boys spent a couple of months deriding Jones and talking up Trey Lance and Justin Fields. As a result, Jones dropped way down into The Hoodie’s shopping cart. Lance and Fields are non-factor for Online betting Super Bowl action. Meanwhile, Jones is a Rookie of the Year candidate and an impressive success story.
Belichick knows what it takes to get around the minefield of the NFL Playoffs. Beyond that, The Hoodie knows how to coordinate a defense into a Super Bowl asset. New England ranks 2nd in the NFL for total defense, 2nd for points allowed, and 3rd for takeaways.
