September 25, 2024The 2024 Presidents Cup begins on Thursday in Montreal with the United States team listed as a -280 favorite at Caesars against the International team. The Presidents Cup is held every two years and the competition has a team from the United States taking on a team of International players minus Europe. The U.S. team has dominated the competition, winning 12 of the previous 14 events. The Internationals have just one win and that came in 1998, while the teams tied in 2003. The event will be held at Royal Montreal for the first time since 2007 when the U.S. team won by a score of 19.5-14.5. This year’s U.S. team, which will be captained by Jim Furyk, is loaded with talent, led by the top two players in the world, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele. The International team, captained by Mike Weir, is led by Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im. Let’s look at Presidents Cup odds and picks.

Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest Presidents Cup odds at Caesars.

Golf Picks
The Presidents Cup is different, as it is not a normal PGA Tour event, but there are plenty of golf betting options available at the online sportsbook. I am not one to lay prices that often and I rarely bet favorites so laying -280 on the U.S. team is not something I want to do. The U.S. definitely has the better team, but I am not laying nearly 3-1 in golf odds.
There are some golf betting odds on who will finish with the best score on each team. Scheffler and Schauffele are co-favorites on the U.S. team at Presidents Cup odds of +450. Matsuyama and Im are co-favorites to finish as the top player on the Internationals side at golf odds of +550. There are also golf betting odds on the top combined overall scorer in the event with Scheffler and Schauffele listed as the co-favorites.
Corey Conners +800
You can get 8-1 on Conners finishing with the most points for the International side. This course in Montreal is suited to players who keep the ball in the fairway and are strong on approach. That suits Conners really well, as he is one of the top players in the world in terms of Approach the Green. He ranks 4th on the PGA Tour in Shots Gained: Approach the Green. Keep in mind that Scheffler leads this statistic, so it is an important one to consider. I think Conners has some value at golf betting odds of 8-1.Check out the latest Presidents Cup odds at Caesars.
