February 28, 2024Missouri Sports Betting Legislation Gaining Ground
February 29, 2024A full slate of college basketball action is set for Saturday, March 2 including No. 24 Florida at No. 18 South Carolina, No. 7 Kansas at No. 15 Baylor, No. 5 Marquette at No. 12 Creighton, No. 4 Tennessee at No. 14 Alabama and No. 23 Gonzaga at No. 17 St. Mary’s. We have a new No. 1 in the latest AP College Basketball Poll, as Houston is now in the top spot. The Cougars get a tough road test on Saturday, as they visit Oklahoma. Last week was extremely frustrating with the parlay, as Princeton and James Madison decided to sleepwalk through the first half of their games and then did what was expected and played great in the second half. St. Mary’s came through with a cover in the other game in the parlay. Let’s look at a three-team parlay for Saturday, March 2.

Saturday, March 2 College Basketball Parlay
Butler minus the points at DePaul
What has happened to the Butler Bulldogs this season? The Bulldogs are just 7-10 in the Big East but at least Butler is better than a pathetic DePaul squad. The Blue Demons are 0-16 in the conference. Butler didn’t cover the big number at home against DePaul earlier this season, but they should have a better chance to cover a lower number on the road. I’ll lay the points and take Butler.
SMU minus the points vs. UTSA
SMU is having a good season, as they are on pace to win more than 20 games this season. They are 19-9 SU and 14-11-2 ATS. They host UTSA on Saturday in what should be a win for SMU. UTSA has not won many games this season, especially in the American, as they have just three conference wins. UTSA started this week at 9-19 SU and 13-14 ATS. I’ll lay the points and take SMU to roll at home in this game against UTSA.
Toledo minus the points at Buffalo
Toledo is competing for first place in the MAC and they will be favored on the road against Buffalo. The Rockets are 17-11 SU and 13-15 ATS. They are just one game behind Akron for first place in the conference. Buffalo has been awful this season at 4-24 SU and 11-16 ATS. The Bulls did get a rare cover against Toledo, losing by 11 on the road earlier this season. We should get a better number with Toledo playing on the road and I expect that the Rockets will get a big road win and cover on Saturday.
