May 10, 2022New York Rangers at Pittsburgh Penguins NHL Preview and Prediction
May 10, 2022The DP World Tour heads to Belgium this week for the inaugural Soudal Open. Belgium players will be very popular this week, but Austrian Bernd Wiesberger is listed as the favorite at odds of 16-1. Rinkven Golf Club will host the event and it will be the third time the course has hosted a DP World Tour event. Thomas Pieters is listed as the co-second choice in golf betting odds at 20-1 along with Sam Horsfield. Pieters will get a lot of support from the locals, but this course may not suit his game. Let’s look at Soudal Open picks
Venue: This event is held at the Rinkven Golf Club located just 10 miles from Antwerp. It is a par 71 that measures just 6,924 yards. The course has hosted the DP World Tour twice, as it hosted the Belgian Knockout. The course was designed by Paul Rolin and features tree-lined fairways.

Favorite
Bernd Wiesberger 16-1
It is really hard to make a case for the favorite in golf betting on the PGA Tour and on the DP World Tour it may be even more difficult. I know Wiesberger has eight career wins on the European Tour, but he is no guarantee to contend, let alone win. I will look elsewhere.
Value Picks
Thomas Detry 22-1
Is this finally the week where Detry breaks through? It would be fitting if he could do it in front of his home fans. I know that Detry has not been in contention a lot, but this could be a good week for him and it is not like this field is anything special. I’ll take Dety at golf betting odds of 22-1.
Adrian Meronk 22-1
Meronk hits the ball a long way but he is also very accurate off the tee. He ranks 33rd on the DP World Tour in accuracy. He hasn’t missed a cut this year and he has two ties for third. I expect him to be in contention this week and his odds seem fair.
Justin Harding 25-1
Harding played well last week with a tie for 16th and he has proved he can win on the European Tour with two wins. The field this week is really not that good and Harding is definitely capable of contending for the win.
Adrian Otaegui 25-1
This should be a good week for Otaegui who has won on this course in the past. He won the Belgian Knockout on this course and there is no question he can handle the field this week. I’ll take him at odds of 25-1.
Connor Syme 70-1
You never know when Syme is going to show up with a big week and it could be that last week’s strong finish at the British Masters will propel him to a win this week. We sure get some attractive odds on him of 70-1.
Guido Migliozzi 80-1
Did you know that Migliozzi won the Belgian Knockout when this course was held at Rinkven? I think he is worth taking this week at huge odds simply because he knows this course well and has had a good history there.
