Sporttrade Goes Live in Colorado

The Sporttrade betting app is now available in Colorado, according to an announcement made by Philadelphia-based sports betting company Sporttrade and their strategic partner GF Gaming. Sporttrade will provide a unique and more equitable product to Colorado residents who wager on sports. Sporttrade expands into Colorado as the region continues to experience exceptional growth. According to a FAQ on the company’s website, Novig, which has not yet gone online in any jurisdictions but wants to launch in Colorado this fall, intends to make money instead of charging a fee by charging institutional traders, internal market makers, and users of its “premium analytics products.” Novig’s user interface resembles a typical sportsbook in that it lists spreads, moneylines, and totals. Lift the hood, though, and one will discover that things operate very differently from the way they do in the house-versus-bettor status quo. If Novig is permitted to accept bets in Colorado, it will enter the market as a traditional sports betting provider, similar to Sporttrade.
