November 19, 2024Steelers at Browns Same Game Parlay Recap
We hit our same game parlay with the Browns winning outright against the Steelers on Thursday, November 21 and the game going over the total. It was quite a scene in Cleveland, as the game turned into a snow bowl with snow covering the field throughout most of the game. The Browns controlled the game for the most part but the total looked in jeopardy until the fourth quarter when points were plentiful. The Browns ended up winning the game outright by a score of 24-19 and Cleveland was listed as the NFL betting underdog catching 3.5 points and the total at the online sportsbook was 35.5. Let’s recap our Steelers at Browns same game parlay winner.
The Browns shocked division rival Pittsburgh 24-19 on Thursday, November 21, snapping the Steelers’ five-game winning streak with a 2-yard touchdown run by Nick Chubb in heavy snow with 57 seconds remaining. Chubb suffered a season-ending left knee injury during a carry at Pittsburgh the previous season, so it was an emotional touchdown for Chubb. With 3:22 left, Pittsburgh punter Corliss Waitman shanked a 16-yard punt to give the Browns the ball back after they blew a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter and fell behind 19-18.
Jameis Winston completed a third-down pass to Jerry Jeudy to the Pittsburgh 9 despite the snow accumulation covering the field’s yard lines. Chubb crashed into the end zone two plays later. A raucous celebration broke out at Huntington Bank Field when Browns defender Grant Delpit knocked down quarterback Russell Wilson’s Hail Mary on the final play.
Game Notes: RT Jack Conklin played his 100th career game. He’s played 43 games as a member of the Browns. Chubb’s second quarter touchdown was his second this season and the 50th of his seven-season career. Myles Garrett’s three-sack performance in the first half marked the second time this season he’s done so in the first half of a game. His other three-sack performance was in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Steelers at Browns Same Game Parlay
The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night on Prime Video. The Steelers are 8-2 and leading the AFC North, while the Browns are 2-8 and in last place in the division, so this looks like a mismatch on paper. What makes this more interesting is that it is a huge rivalry game and that the Steelers are coming off their most important win of the season, as they beat the Baltimore Ravens last week. The question is whether or not the Steelers will have the inevitable letdown on Thursday night against a Cleveland team that continues to struggle. Let’s look at the game, NFL odds at PROLINE+ and Steelers vs. Browns Same Game Parlay Picks.
PROLINE+ NFL Odds
Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5
Cleveland Browns +3.5
Total 35.5

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns Same Game Parlay
The Steelers have been one of the best teams in the NFL to bet on this season. They are not only 8-2 SU but they are 8-2 ATS with five games going over the total and five going under. They have been equally good at home and on the road, as they are 4-1 ATS at home and 4-1 ATS on the road. Cleveland has been bad all the way around, as they are 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS with four games going over the total and six going under.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are averaging 23.3 points per game with much of that success coming on the ground, as they are 8th in the league in rushing yards per game at 136.7. They are stout on defense, as they are giving up just 16.2 points per game and that is 2nd-best in the NFL. Najee Harris leads the team with 708 yards rushing. Justin Fields still leads the team in passing yards, but that won’t last much longer since Russell Wilson took over as the starter a few games ago and will get past Fields in terms of passing yards shortly. George Pickens leads the team with 728 receiving yards.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns are averaging just 16.2 points per game which is next to last in the league. They are giving up 24.8 points per game and that is 24th in the NFL. Jerome Ford leads the team in rushing with 279 yards but it shouldn’t be long before Nick Chubb overtakes him, as Chubb is back healthy again. Deshaun Watson still leads the team in passing yards, but Jameis Winston is now the starter and should surpass Watson in yardage soon. Jerry Jeudy leads the team with 560 receiving yards.
Steelers vs. Browns Series
The Steelers have won six of the last ten in this series and they are 7-3 ATS with five games going over the total and five going under. The teams split their two games last season with each team winning at home. Pittsburgh is just 4-5-1 SU and 4-6 in the last 10 games at Cleveland with three games going over the total and seven going under.
Steelers at Browns Same Game Parlay Pick
Thursday Night NFL games are a different animal to handicap and predict. One thing that normally works well on Thursday night is to take the underdog. I know that taking the Browns is not easy but there are a few things in our favor in this game. First, Pittsburgh is almost assuredly going to have a letdown after last week’s win over Baltimore. Second, Cleveland is at home on national TV and they should be better than their record as they have some good players on both sides of the ball. Third, this is a huge rivalry game and the Browns have held their own at home in this series. I’ll go with the Browns and also play the game to go over the total, as one thing Jameis Winston isn’t afraid to do is throw the ball around the yard.
