North Carolina Online Betting Set to Begin

March 11, 2024The two biggest money-making teams are in action on Sunday, March 10 as part of a nine-game NBA slate, but that does that make the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder worthy of being included on a NBA parlay at Caesars sportsbook? There are other factors to include, of course, since both teams still fail to cover the NBA point spread in more than 30 percent of their games. Orlando has been the most profitable team in the NBA with payouts on the NBA betting line in two-thirds of their games. The Magic beat Washington 119-109 on Wednesday for their fifth straight win and cover. They have two wins and payouts against Indiana already this season and host the Pacers in their final meeting.
ESPN will televise a pair of games starting with an Eastern Conference tussle between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks. Both teams have struggled recently with key players out of the lineup yet they’re still in the hunt for a top 6. The game tips at 7 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden. The Minnesota Timberwolves have sat at or near the top of the Western Conference standings all season and will have to move forward without the services of Karl-Anthony Towns. A significant part of the team’s success this season, his knee injury could impact the Wolves as a NBA pick against the spread in their matchup with the LA Lakers in the second ESPN game of the night.

The game between the Warriors and Celtics last Sunday is a sign of just how unpredictable the NBA is this season. Boston is the best team in the league and was an 8-point favorite on the NBA betting line. The Dubs entered on a roll with 11 wins in their previous 13 games and defeated the Celtics earlier in the season. No one expected a 52-point margin but that’s what we had in Boston’s 140-88 triumph. And of course I backed the visitors so my NBA parlay was a bust out of the gate. As we enter the final stages of the regular season I’ll try once again to secure a winning NBA parlay at Caesars sportsbook.
Orlando has had success at the betting window and as a result I have too. The Magic got me a win last week and they are a confident group as the No. 4 seed in the East. They boast the fourth most efficient defense in the NBA and stifled the high-scoring Pacers in a pair of wins this season. Led by former No. 1 NBA draft picks Paolo Banchero and Markelle Fultz, the Magic have a sneaky good offense as well. It’s hard to pass on a team that’s covered the NBA betting line in 66.7 percent of their games so I won’t.
The New Orleans Pelicans are in a precarious position in the West standings. They opened a road trip with a 139-98 pounding of Toronto on Tuesday, their second straight win by more than 20 points and third victory in four games to move within 3 ½ games of the Clippers for the No. 4 seed. But they are just four games better than the No. 10 Lakers, so they have to stay focused. The Pels conclude their three-game excursion against the Hawks, who have the worst cover rate in the NBA and are without Trae Young. Nawlins has an opportunity to at least maintain their standing and I’m betting they do that.
An injury to a star player can certainly have an impact on a team. You can ask the Sixers about that. The Timberwolves move forward without Karl-Anthony Towns taking 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game off the floor. He’s a major reason why the Wolves have the NBA’s best defense and provided a punch for an offense that can’t afford to lose it. Teams adjust, but the initial shock of knowing a top player is shelved indefinitely has lasting effects. Minnesota is still a good team, just not as good without KAT and the Lakers seize the opportunity with Anthony Davis
having a big night making LA my winning NBA pick.
