Week 9 NFL Player Prop Best Bets
November 3, 2023Thursday Night NFL Betting Odds & Lines Parlay – Panthers at Bears
November 6, 2023The Los Angeles Chargers ended up having zero issue with Chicago as expected by cruising to the 30-13 win and cover as 9.5-point favorites per the closing NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook. But due to it being such a one-sided affair, we failed to cash each leg of our Sunday Night Football same game parlay. Justin Herbert had a monster night with 298 yards passing and 3 TD, but failed to hit the 300-yard plateau by two freaking yards. Keenan Allen hauled in a team-high eight receptions for 69 yards with a long of 26, but failed to reel in a tuddy or hit the century mark. NFL bettors have been forced to take in a number of terrible matchups under the Sunday night lights this season, so hopefully the Week 9 installment delivers with the Buffalo Bills set to square off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Let’s see if we can close the night out with a bang – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Bet on the National Football League at Caesars Sportsbook
Emotions will be high for the Sunday nighter with this matchup serving as the backdrop that saw Damar Hamlin collapse on the field and be resuscitated forcing the cancellation of the game and with it the hopes and dreams of either the Bills or Bengals earning the AFC’s top seed. Think the Bengals are still a bit miffed about that considering they went on to drop a 23-20 decision to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game – in Arrowhead! While none of that will ultimately play a role in this rematch of the division round beat down the Bengals handed the Bills, I still don’t think enough has changed to lead me to believe the same result occurs once again. Cincy wins this game, but it won’t be anywhere near as low scoring this time around!
The Bengals let it be known last week that they’re back in a big way after going into Levi’s Stadium and handing the San Francisco 49ers an embarrassing 31-17 defeat as 4-point dogs per Caesars closing betting odds. Joe Burrow looked the healthiest he’s been all season after ripping a problematic 49ers secondary for 283 yards and a perfect 3:0 TD/INT ratio all the while turning his six carries into 43 yards and a 7.2 yard per carry average. That calf injury that tremendously hampered Cincinnati through the first month now looks to be in the rearview mirror. That spells trouble for an injury-riddled Bills defense that’s been ripped for 225+ yards (No. 20) and 68.5 completion percentage (No. 25) over the last three weeks. Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd are going to eat!
Buffalo’s offense is vastly improved however with the addition of Dalton Kincaid and Khalil Shakir making his presence felt in recent weeks. Pair them with arguably one of the best pass catchers in the league in Stefon Diggs as well as Gabe Davis whose capable of going HAM at the drop of a hat, and the Bills will be in this game all the way through as readily able Cincinnati’s defense has been at giving up chunk yards to the opposition. Though it’s only resulted in 20.6 points allowed on average (No. 16), the Bengals have gotten ripped for 370+ yards per game (No. 27) and Buffalo represents one of the defense’s stiffest challenges to date. Still irked by only scoring 10 points in the division round loss a season ago, I expect a concerted effort from Josh Allen – injured shoulder and all – right from the opening kick.
I fully expect both offenses to put on a show under the Sunday night lights! Buffalo’s struggling defense will have no answer for the thing of beauty Cincy just ran out in Silicon Valley, while a Bengals stop unit that just allowed Brock Purdy to throw for 365 yards and a touchdown will have a plethora of issues containing what Allen and Co. are about to unleash upon them for the nation to see. With that, look for all the big names to all have a major say in how this one plays out. We want all the overs at Caesars Sportsbook – Diggs, Kincaid, Chase, Higgins – but we’ll only concentrate on the QBs for this SGP. The team with the ball last just might be in a position to win the game when it’s said and done. Either way, NFL bettors will finally get to take in a high profile matchup that actually lives up to expectations with the scoreboard operators earning their pay checks up until the clock reads double zeroes!
