Week 10 NFL Player Prop Best Bets
November 10, 2023Thursday Night NFL Betting Odds & Lines Parlay – Bengals at Ravens
November 13, 2023Prime time matchups have failed to deliver all season long. Unfortunately, last week’s matchup between the Bills and Bengals continued the trend. Cincinnati got out to a huge first-half lead then spent the final 30 minutes milking that lead until it came out with the 24-18 win and cover at Caesars Sportsbook. While Joe Burrow did manage to throw for 300+ passing yards, he only threw a pair of touchdowns instead of the three we clamored for. Josh Allen was a no-show all around in playing to an 85.2 QB rating by way of throwing for 258 yards and a 1:1 TD/INT ratio. He wasn’t able to hit the 300+ yard passing yards plateau and played a role in both touchdowns with the second coming from his legs. It’s time to succumb to the primetime trend that’s seen the under cash at an insane 22-7 (76%) clip for the year with the Jets and Raiders hogging the Sunday Night Football spotlight – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

While not the most attractive matchup of the Week 10 betting slate, the NFL still decided not to flex this matchup between New York and Las Vegas out of the SNF time slot. Believe it or not; this is still a pivotal AFC matchup with the Jets current owners of the No. 11 seed and the Raiders clocking in at No. 13. While only seven teams qualify, the 5-7 seeds currently possess five overall wins and both teams have amassed four wins – regardless of whether you like it or not! As such, it comes with little surprise to see the game lined a pick ‘em with the 36.5-point total the lowest of the Week 10 slate at Caesars Sportsbook. A triumph would drastically improve either squad’s playoff chances so I fully expect each to bring its “A” game to the gridiron Sunday night.
I firmly believe New York would be mixed in with the favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII right now had it possessed a capable shot caller under center. It’s a crying shame Aaron Rodgers succumbed to a nasty Achilles injury four snaps into his Jets career! While there’s certainly some talented pieces to the offense, my belief has everything to do with Robert Saleh’s defense that’s been playing with its hair on fire in an attempt to make up for the shortcomings on the other side of the ball. Though NY came out on the wrong end of a 21-point beat down against the Chargers last Monday night, I came away extremely impressed with the job Jeff Ulbrich’s stop unit put forth holding Justin Herbert to a season-low 65.4 QB rating by way of sacking him five times and holding the Chargers QB1 to 136 yards on 16-of-30 passing without a touchdown thrown.
The Jets are owners of the No. 6 DVOA defense in allowing 312 yards (No. 9) and 19.5 points (No. 8) per game. While proven to be stingier at home (17.0 YPP) than on the road (14.5 YPP), it sports the league’s No. 2 ranked pressure rate (41.4%) that should be able to expose a Raiders offense with a rookie quarterback under center. Vegas sports middling pass protection that’s allowed an average of 2.4 sacks per game. Aidan O’Connell won the first start of his NFL career last week at home against the corpse that is the New York Football Giants. It marked the first game under center in which he wasn’t intercepted. With Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed locking down the Raiders pass catching options paired with the heat created by Jermaine Johnson and Co., he’ll be good for at least one if not two errant throws in this one. Don’t’ be shocked if one is taken the other way for six!
Putting a bow on what I predict will be a statement win for the Jets will be Breece Hall and his ability to run roughshod upon Maxx Crosby and his mates. It’s been a minute since No. 20 went HAM, but this Sunday night backdrop looks juicy with the Raiders serving up a league-worst 1,060 rushing yards, 4.6 yards per carry (No. 30), and nine overall touchdowns to opposing running backs. On top of that, the Silver and Black have served up a 75 percent completion rate to the position which tells me dump-offs and screens will be there for Zach Wilson to bank on all game long. It’s highly possible Vegas is able to take advantage of the Jets on the ground as well with run D the problem area of the defense (No. 30). I however believe turnovers force the Raiders to the air more than they’d like, so we won’t be getting involved with any Josh Jacobs props in this matchup.
Look for the J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! to come out triumphant at Caesars Sportsbook on Sunday night on the back of a lock down showing from the defense and Breece going berserk!
