January 29, 2025Super Bowl LIX Parlay Picks
January 29, 2025Our first look at the NFL odds for Super Bowl LIX takes us to “The Big Easy” where the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will lock horns in the Caesars Superdome for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. This will be the second time in the last three seasons these teams’ paths crossed in the big game. Super Bowl LVII saw Andy Reid’s squad battle back from a 27-21 late third quarter deficit to pull out the 38-35 win as short 1-point favorites after Harrison Butker connected from 27 yards out to propel Kansas City to the win in the closing seconds. The 73 combined points smashed the closing 51-point total largely due to a fourth quarter scoring barrage that saw the teams combine for 25 points.
Caesars Sportsbook opened up the rematch with Kansas City installed 1.5-point favorites and the total set at 48.5. Early action briefly moved the number to -2, but it has since come back to the opener due to the Eagles being aligned with 65% of the bets and 70+ percent of the money. Total bettors appear to be in concert with one another with the number to beat correcting a full point to 49.5 due to the over getting hit with 75+ percent of the written tickets and 90% of the booked handle.

The first go-round between these teams was all about quarterback play. Each shined, but we’ll concentrate on Patrick Mahomes first. The generational quarterback has seemingly come into his own throughout the money season churning out two of his highest rated back-to-back games of the NFL betting season. He just played to a 111.9 QB rating by way of completing 18 of 26 passes for 245 yards and a touchdown against the Bills. He also turned his 11 overall carries into 43 yards and a pair of rushing scores. Against the Eagles in LVII, No. 15 completed 78% of his 27 overall passes for only 182 yards, but did manage to throw a trio of touchdown passes. He also proved to be a weapon with his legs, taking off six times for 44 yards with a long of 26.

Off a poor showing against the Rams, Jalen Hurts put it into hyper drive against the Commanders in the NFC title game. The Eagles QB1 played to a 110.1 QB rating after completing 20 of his 28 overall passes for 246 yards and 1:0 TD/INT ratio. More importantly, he was confident enough in his legs to score three rushing touchdowns. Hurts had a huge day throwing the ball against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, completing 71% of his passes for 304 yards and a score without an interception thrown. He also proved to be a pest on the ground turning his 15 overall attempts into 70 yards and three saunters into the end zone.

It can be argued that the Eagles never would’ve even sniffed the Super Bowl if not for Saquon Barkley and his heroics throughout both the regular season and playoffs. He was up to his old tricks in the conference championship taking his first carry 60-yards to paydirt on Philly’s first play from scrimmage. The spectacle came as quite the gut punch to Washington who needed nearly half the first quarter to run 18 plays just to take an early 3-0 lead. No. 26 has accumulated a record-breaking seven rushing touchdowns of 60-plus yards to date. Wouldn’t it be something if he continues to set the record in LIX?!
Current Barkley Props at Caesars:
- Rushing Yards: 114.5
- Rush Attempts: 22.5
- Longest Run: 23.5
- Combo Yards: 130.5
Though Buffalo did a fantastic job of keeping Travis Kelce in check throughout the AFC title game holding the stud tight end to just 19 yards on two catches, NFL bettors can be sure No. 87 won’t be held down in Super Bowl LIX betting. Philadelphia served up 818 yards and 7 TD to opposing tight ends over the course of the regular season, and just had major issues defending the position in the playoffs serving up huge stat tallies to Tyler Higbee (7/54/1) and Zack Ertz (11/104/0) its last two games. Taylor Swift’s heartthrob caught all six of his targets for 81 yards and a score in the first Super Bowl showdown with the Eagles.
Current Kelce Props at Caesars:
- Receiving Yards: 64.5
- Pass Receptions: 6.5
- Longest Reception: 19.5
