December 6, 2024Timberwolves at Warriors Same Game Parlay Recap
I am red-hot with the NBA same game parlays of late, as I won yet another one on Friday, December 6th with Minnesota and the under. The Timberwolves dominated the Golden State Warriors winning, 107-90. Not only did Minnesota win going away, the total was never in doubt, as it went way under the closing number of 220. The Timberwolves may be headed in the right direction after a slow start. The good news with the parlays is that we are in the midst of a nice run. Let’s look at the Timberwolves at Warriors same game parlay recap.
In the first of two games between the teams over the weekend, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Golden State Warriors 107-90 on Friday night, led by Anthony Edwards, who finished with 30 points and nine assists. After missing Golden State’s victory over Houston the previous evening to rest his ailing knees, Stephen Curry was back for the Warriors and he had 23 points in the loss.
Curry’s 3-pointer with 10:38 left made the score 80-77, but the Warriors once more had trouble controlling the ball and making crucial stops. The T-Wolves, who return to town on Sunday to play again at Chase Center, had 17 points and 11 rebounds from Rudy Gobert.
After missing Thursday’s game due to soreness in his left calf, Draymond Green also played. Green, who has 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, has occasionally played with the second unit when coach Steve Kerr needed an experienced player on the court.
Since snapping a 12-game losing run on the Warriors’ home court, Minnesota has won four in a row at Chase Center and the last five games in the series. The Timberwolves led 56-46 at the half after holding a 27-19 rebounding advantage in the first half. The Warriors were just 5 of 19 in the first nine minutes of the second quarter. Due to Andrew Wiggins’ problematic right ankle and Moses Moody’s left knee pain, the Warriors were shorthanded late in the game.
Timberwolves at Warriors Same Game Parlay
The Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Golden State Warriors on Friday night in a game that can be seen on ESPN. Both teams have struggled at times this season and right now it is the Warriors who are headed in the wrong direction, while the Timberwolves may have righted the ship. Golden State still has the better record between the two teams, but Minnesota is considered more of a threat to win this year’s NBA title than Golden State. This will be the first of two straight games in California between Minnesota and Golden State, as the teams will play again on Sunday. I am coming off a same game parlay winner last Friday night with the Clippers and the under. Let’s look at our Timberwolves vs. Warriors Same Game Parlay.

Minnesota Timberwolves Team Overview
Minnesota was in Los Angeles to play the Clippers on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves were 10-10 SU and 7-13 ATS in their first 20 games with 11 games going over the total and nine going under. They are averaging just over 111 points per game which is just 11th in the league. They are giving up 108.8 points per game which is 5th in the league. Anthony Edwards leads the team with 26.7 points per game, Mike Conley leads the team in assists at just 4.7 per contest, while Rudy Gobert leads the team in rebounding at 11.2 per contest.
Golden State Warriors Team Overview
The Warriors were in Denver on Tuesday night, had Wednesday off and then hosted Houston on Thursday night so this will be their third game in four days. Golden State was 12-7 SU and 10-8-1 ATS in their first 19 games with 10 games going over the total and nine going under. They are averaging 116.2 points per game which is 9th in the league and they are giving up 109.8 points per contest which is 7th in the NBA. Timberwolves vs. Warriors Series
Minnesota has won seven of the last ten against Golden State straight up and they are 6-4 ATS with six games going over the total and four going under. The teams met three times last season and it was Minnesota winning all three contests with two of the three going over the total. It has been a home team series with Golden State winning and covering the spread in 7 of the last 10 in San Francisco with five games going over the total and five going under.
Timberwolves at Warriors Same Game Parlay Pick
The Warriors have not played well of late and Minnesota is playing better so I lean with the Timberwolves in this game. It also helps the cause that Golden State is not in a good scheduling situation. This will be the third game in four days for Golden State and they are playing with no rest. There is no question that Minnesota has not played up to expectations so far this season but they have started to show signs of coming out of their early season malaise. Golden State started the season really well, but they are starting to fall back to earth, as they have not played well at all lately. I think the Timberwolves are the right side in this one, although it is still a bit risky to go with Minnesota, as we need to see them fully turn the corner before they can be trusted. I’ll also take the game under the total.
