Blaydes is listed as almost a 4-1 favorite in this fight. There are some interesting round props for this fight. Since many people won’t want to lay the almost 4-1 price in Blaydes, the round props could hold some interest. These two are known as finishers, so you may want to bet the fight to go under the rounds. For example, you can bet that the fight won’t start round 3 and get +104. There is definitely a chance that one of these two fighters gets a quick finish, so there could be some value in going under on some of the round props.

I don’t think there is any question that Blaydes is the better fighter and he deserves to be favored, but there is no way I am laying nearly 4-1 on him. Daukaus is definitely not without a chance, so I can’t lay a huge price in this fight. The rounds props are interesting, as both fighters are known as finishers, but having listened to each of them heading into this fight I don’t know that we get a quick finish. I mentioned the rounds prop earlier at FanDuel for round 3. If we think the fight is going to go at least two rounds, and I think there is a good chance it does, we just have to lay -152. If the fight starts round 3 then the bet is a win. I will also take a flyer on Blaydes winning by submission. We can get +950 on that prop. I also think the prop on Blaydes winning by KO/TKO or submission has some value. The odds on this prop are just -135 and if Blaydes wins as expected, this fight probably won’t go to a decision and instead of laying nearly 4-1 we get almost an even money price with this prop.

I never like to entirely discount the underdog and I am definitely not doing that in this fight, as Daukaus is not without a chance. I can’t see him getting a finish against Blaydes, but maybe he finds a way to grind this fight out and turn it into one that drags out. Daukaus to win by decision is +1600 and I think that price is simply too high. A small flyer at that price might be worth considering.
