UFL Betting – Week 4 Parlay Picks

After three weeks of the inaugural United Football League season only one of the eight teams is unbeaten. Having won two USFL titles, the Birmingham Stallions continue to make things look easy beating the Memphis Showboats, 33-14, last week covering the UFL betting line to improve to 3-0 straight up and as a UFL pick against the spread. Birmingham puts its perfect record on the line in a matchup with the DC Defenders on Saturday positioned as a 9.5-point favorite at Caesars sportsbook, the largest UFL point spread in any game this season.

We did see offenses start to click in Week 3 with seven of the eight teams scoring at least 20 points and three winners topping the 30-point mark. That led to all four games going OVER the total on the UFL odds. Adrian Martinez got the start for Birmingham becoming the first QB to throw for more than 300 yards this season. Oddsmakers have adjusted with three games opening with a total of 45 or higher. Unlike previous weeks, Week 4 will have three games on Saturday with the Arlington Renegades and Houston Roughnecks each going for their first win of the season in the lone Sunday contest closing out the UFL betting week.

Week 4 UFL Parlay Picks

There’s always a little luck involved when playing UFL parlays and mine has run out since hitting a Week 1 three-team winner. As quickly as it goes it can return with proper preparation, and knowing more about the teams gives us more insight. That can also be a negative as bettors tend to overthink certain stats and trends. I lost on two of my three UFL picks last week expecting a better showing from the Memphis defense. And who woulda thought the Michigan Panthers would erupt for 34 points handing me a loser on the over/under. Oh well, that happens and all I can do is get back in the saddle, which I will do on my Week 4 UFL picks and parlay.

We knew Birmingham had a loaded QB room with Matt Corral and Adrian Martinez added to the mix. They won last year with J’Mar Smith and he isn’t even in the conversation. Martinez got the start last week throwing for 344 yards and accounting for three TDs, making the offense even better. Buf a performance like that doesn’t happen all the time. The DC Defenders went 9-1 in the XFL last year behind a defense that led the league in a number of categories. This isn’t the same team but a number of players are back to at least give hope that the unit can be strong. Jordan Ta’amu was the XFL’s offensive player of the year in 2023 and should do enough to at least keep DC within the 9.5-point UFL spread.

The San Antonio Brahmas were lucky to get to 2-0 with their Week 2 comeback, using the on-side kick alternative to score 12 points in the final minute and beat Memphis. Give them credit for clawing back but they couldn’t do it last week against St. Louis. I just don’t think the Brahmas are as good as their record at this point, so I’m backing their opponent Michigan in a tossup on the UFL betting line. E.J. Perry sparked the Panthers’ offense in last week’s 34-20 triumph over Houston competing 84 percent of his passes and accounting for three TDs.

The final game of the UFL betting week pits the two winless teams against each other. Arlington overcame a rough start and losing regular season record to win the 2023 XFL title. And they possess spring football legend Luis Perez, who threw for 280 yards and a pair of TDs last week. Perez leads the league in passing yards and the Renegades are the second-highest scoring team. If they get just a little help from the defense there’s a good chance they cover the 2.5-point UFL point spread against the Houston Roughnecks.
