UFL Betting – Week 6 Parlay Picks

At the midway point of the 2024 United Football League season one team has clearly stood out. In what may have been their best performance of the year the Birmingham Stallions improved to 5-0 with a 32-9 victory over Houston in Week 5 covering the 7.5-point UFL point spread. Despite laying six points or more on the UFL betting line in four of their five games, the Stallions have been a profitable group going 4-1 against the line. The St. Louis Battlehawks are on a roll as well winning four in a row while scoring more than 30 points in their last three games. They scored a UFL season-high in their 45-12 win over DC on Sunday. 

I mention those teams because they are huge UFL betting favorites at Caesars sportsbook in Week 6. Birmingham is laying 13 points in its road tilt with Memphis while St. Louis is a 12-point favorite at home against Houston. Those are the first games this season with a double-digit spread. The Arlington Renegades will have to win out just to finish .500 and I’m not sure the 2023 XFL champions have what it takes. They did win the title last year after going 4-6 during the regular season so I guess it’s possible, but XFL Division leaders St. Louis and San Antonio are both 4-1.

Week 6 UFL Parlay Picks

Backing the two best teams in the UFL last week paid off when Birmingham covered the UFL point spread in its demolition of Houston. And playing with the highest total of the year wasn’t a problem for the UFL’s highest scoring team. St. Louis scored a league-best 45 points nearly reaching the total (47) on their own. DC chipped in the additional points to cash the OVER. For the second straight week backing Arlington on my UFL picks and parlay proved fatal. Catching 1.5 points the Renegades dropped their fifth straight game, 25-15. We haven’t had a double-digit UFL point spread all season and we get two on the early line this week with Birmingham and St. Louis laying the points in their Week 6 games.

I’m backing two favorites this week, though I was hesitant when picking Birmingham. I know they’re good, really good, and the Memphis Showboats have struggled losing four straight while scoring fewer than 20 points in every game. In Week 3 the Stallions earned a dominant 33-14 win when the UFL line was 7-points. Laying 13-points on the road is a lot, but the Stallions have been unstoppable averaging 26.4 points while surrendering a UFL low 17.2 points per game.

The loss of starting QB E.J. Perry didn’t hurt the Michigan Panthers, who rolled to a 35-18 win over Memphis last week. Danny Etling took over completing 14 of 21 for 175 yards, but the Panthers are about the run game and an opportunistic defense. Wes Hills rushed for 82 of the teams 160 yards and scored three of their five rushing TDs in the dominant effort. Michigan’s D recorded seven sacks and forced four turnovers. And after backing Arlington as a UFL point spread pick the previous two weeks and losing, I’m taking a different approach in Week 6.

It’s easy to envision points when the Battlehawks are playing. They lead the UFL in scoring, topped the 30-point mark in three straight games and tallied a UFL season-high in last week’s 45-12 win over DC. St. Louis benefitted from four DC turnovers, made two fourth down stops and blocked two punts. Offensively the Battlehawks totaled just 280 yards. With the Houston Roughnecks taking better care of the football backing the UNDER on the total of 47 is a strong UFL betting pick.
