February 14, 2023College Basketball Parlay Picks for Wednesday, February 15, 2023
February 14, 2023There are ten games on the NBA schedule for Wednesday, February 15, including a pair of ESPN games, as the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Philadelphia 76ers while the New Orleans Pelicans are at the Los Angeles Lakers. Wednesday and Thursday are interesting nights in NBA betting this week because the NBA All-Star break begins on Friday. Some players are simply not going to be focused, as they look ahead to playing in the game or they look ahead to a few days off. We’ll try and pick some good NBA parlay situations for Wednesday. Let’s look at some teams to consider for your Wednesday NBA parlays.
Wednesday, February 15th Parlay Teams
Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers were good to us last week as they were one of our winning teams. The Pacers are competing for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and they are just behind the Bulls, so this is a simply a must-win game for Indiana. The Bulls haven’t been a good road team this season, as they were just 10-19 on the road starting this week, while the Pacers were 17-13 at home beginning this week. The Pacers won 116-110 at home against the Bulls last month and I don’t see any reason the Pacers won’t get another home win on Wednesday night. I’ll take the Pacers as the first team in the Wednesday night parlay.
New York Knicks
How much do you trust the Hawks laying points at home? Atlanta hasn’t been anything special at home with a record just barely above .500. The Knicks have actually been a good road team this season and they will be catching points in this game. I know the Hawks won at home earlier this season against the Knicks, but the previous two meetings in Atlanta went to New York. I think the points are worth taking in this one, so I’ll back the Knicks.
Memphis Grizzlies
One of the best home teams in the NBA this season has been the Memphis Grizzlies. They are hosting the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night and Utah has not been a good team on the road this season. If the Jazz get down early, they may just pack it in and get ready for a few days off. The Grizzlies have won their last two home games against the Jazz but went just 1-1 ATS. This is not the same Utah team of past seasons, as the Jazz have not been that competitive on the road. I’ll lay the points and take the Grizzlies as the third team in the parlay.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Will the Houston Rockets have any incentive at all to play hard on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City? The Rockets have been simply awful on most nights and they have been fodder on the road. The Thunder are actually competing for a playoff spot and they have been a decent home team. This is another situation where a team like Houston may get down early and then just throw in the white towel and start thinking about the break. There is no reason to think the Rockets will be competitive on Wednesday, so I will take the Thunder as another team to consider for Wednesday night parlays.
Wednesday, February 8th Totals
I’ll make a separate category here and give you a few totals to consider for your Wednesday NBA parlays. The Bulls and Pacers have gone under in seven of their last 10 at Indiana so we’ll take that game under. The Pistons and Celtics have gone over the total in eight of their last 10 in Boston, so we’ll take that game over the total. The public oftentimes likes to take high profile TV games over the total. The late game on ESPN has the Pelicans visiting the Lakers and you can probably predict that the public will be taking the game over the total. Did you know that six of the last ten meetings between New Orleans and the Lakers in Los Angeles have gone under the total? We’ll take the Pelicans and Lakers under.
