Thursday Night NFL Betting Odds & Lines Parlay – 49ers at Seahawks
November 20, 2023How to Play 100-1 Roulette
November 21, 2023The final day of NBA action before the Thanksgiving Holiday has 28 of the 30 teams in action on Wednesday giving bettors plenty of NBA line picks for their parlay at BetRivers sportsbook. A look at the Western Conference standings at the end of the week has several teams situated in a playoff spot that weren’t there at the end of last season. The Minnesota Timberwolves tied the defending champion Denver Nuggets at the top of the standings with Dallas, Oklahoma City and Houston all among the top six as we head into another week of action. Of course it’s still early and things will change, but it’s nice to see a little variety.
Beating Golden State twice on the road, the Thunder extended their SU and ATS winning streak to four with payouts in seven of their previous eight games. At 10-3 as an NBA spread pick, OKC is the most profitable team in the league and will host the Chicago Bulls in one of 14 games on the NBA schedule for November 22. The date is one of the darkest in American history as it was 60 years ago that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. In honor of the 35th president my NBA parlay will consist of three teams from cities that were associated with JFK and that day. There are stranger ways to make NBA bets and at least I’m not backing teams based on the color of their uniform. However, I do feel strongly about my NBA odds picks for my Wednesday parlay.

NBA Schedule for Wednesday, November 22
Washington Wizards at Charlotte Hornets, 7 p.m. ET
Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Dallas Mavericks at LA Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET
Backing the Wizards is an obvious choice for my JFK NBA parlay. Our nation’s capital houses the leader of the free world and the former President had his time cut short. The Wizards travel to Charlotte for a showdown with the Hornets, who are one team the Wiz actually have a chance of beating. A loss to the Knicks on Friday was Washington’s fifth straight, a streak that started with a 124-117 setback to the Hornets. But before the streak started the Wizards picked up their second win of the season knocking off the Hornets, 132-116, in North Carolina.
Kyle Kuzma scored 33 points in the win and was aided by a bench that outscored Charlotte 72-23. The club has a number of moving parts following a tear down, but the Wizards have been more competitive lately. And playing on the road against a team with a better record will yield some points on the NBA betting line, which is good enough for me to back the visitors.
Since JFK was born in Massachusetts I’m backing the Boston Celtics in their heavyweight matchup with Milwaukee. The Bucks started slowly with their new prize Damian Lillard not having as big an impact on the games as most expected. The Cs have gotten impact performances from their new additions with Kristaps Porzingis the third leading scorer on the team with 19.2 points per game behind only the teams superstar start in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Jrue Holiday has taken over the defensive leadership role vacated by Marcus Smart and is contributing more than 13 points per game. Since losing two straight a few weeks ago the Celtics rattled off five straight wins going 4-1 ATS.
The President was shot in Dallas long before the Mavericks ever arrived. And the club skedaddled out of town to face the Lakers on Wednesday. The duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving failed to click last season with the Mavs missing the postseason. There was talk that the club would cut its losses and move on from Irving, but that didn’t happen. And so far that’s been a good move.
The Mavs won nine of their first 12 games behind an efficient offense that’s seen Doncic average 31 points and Irving 24. They’re both shooting better than 47 percent from the floor and some of Luka’s best games have come against the Lakers. And the Mavs aren’t just a two-man show with enough complementary pieces to keep opposing defenses on their toes. You just never know about the Lakers and their overall health. Anthony Davis missed time due to injury and LeBron James has a lingering calf issue and the Mavs have been a good road team over the past several years making them my NBA odds pick.
