Last Saturday, we hit two of the three legs against the NCAA Vegas odds for our three-team college football parlay. The Nebraska Cornhuskers covered a loss that they should have won straight up, 13-10, on the road against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The South Carolina Gamecocks continued their Cinderella comeback streak with a 17-14 win over the Clemson Tigers in Death Valley. Despite a raucous home crowd out for blood, the Texas A&M Aggies were outclassed in a 17-7 letdown against the Texas Longhorns.

Betting on College Football – Nebraska +5.5 at Iowa
Nebraska jumped out to a 10-0 lead and seemed to have the game in hand before special team mistakes and Iowa’s only big play of the night did them in.
The contest remained close into the final minutes. The Blackshirts forced an Iowa punt with 1:45 left, setting up the Nebraska offense with the ball at its own 20 with two timeouts. Husker QB Dylan Raiola marched the Big Red to the Nebraska 43. On first and 10, Raiola was hit by Max Llewellyn. The ball came loose, and Iowa recovered. Drew Stevens then capped off the comeback with a 53-yard field goal.

The Gamecocks almost gave the game away after two turnovers in Tiger territory. They were able to overcome those second half mistakes due to the performance of the Gamecocks defense and clutch runs from LaNorris Sellers.
