September 19, 2024Week 4 College Football Parlay Picks Recap
We had three college football parlays for Week 4 and one of them came through which meant a small profit for the week. We hit on the line moves parlay with Utah and Connecticut coming through. We just missed on the favorites parlay with Mississippi rolling over Georgia Southern, but Ohio State just missed on covering the big number vs. Marshall. The underdog parlay split with Bowling Green covering easily against Texas A&M, but South Florida never had a shot against Miami. Let’s break down the Week 4 college football parlay results.
Favorites Parlay Recap
Ohio State -39.5 vs. Marshall
The favorites parlay just missed hitting, as Ohio State won by 35 points laying 39.5. The Buckeyes defense decided to take the first half off and gave up 14 points before showing up in the second half and shutting out Marshall, but the damage was done and it was a 49-14 win for the Buckeyes, but a non-cover. Ole Miss was laying 35.5 points to Georgia Southern and the Rebels rolled to a 52-13 win. It wasn’t an easy cover though, as Ole Miss had to outscore Georgia Southern 28-6 in the second half to cover the spread.
Underdogs Parlay Recap
This one never had a chance, as Miami is obviously for real, as they rolled over South Florida, winning by 35 points. It is too bad because Bowling Green hung with A&M, losing by just six. But 1-1 on a parlay means a losing parlay.
Line Move Parlay Recap
The line move parlay was a great success in Week 4, as Utah slipped past Oklahoma State laying two points and it was the same with Connecticut, as they crushed Florida Atlantic, winning 48-14 as a 2.5-point favorite. The Utes game looked to be in control but the Utes let the Cowboys back in the game late in the 4th quarter and had to hold on for the three-point win. It was never in doubt in the other game, as Connecticut rolled to an easy win.
Week 4 College Football Parlay Picks
The Week 4 college football schedule begins on Thursday and continues with a big slate of action on Saturday. There are four games between AP Top 25 teams this week. Friday has No. 24 Illinois visiting No. 22 Nebraska in a battle of unbeaten teams. No. 11 USC will visit No. 18 Michigan on Saturday, No. 12 Utah visits No. 14 Oklahoma State on Saturday and No. 6 Tennessee visits No. 15 Oklahoma on Saturday. We’ll keep it really simple with the parlays this week and go with three two-team parlays, one with two favorites, one with two underdogs and one with two big line moves. We just need to hit one of the three parlays to have a profitable week and we have some solid plays for Week 4. Let’s look at Week 4 college football parlay picks.

Favorites Parlay
Ohio State -39.5 vs. Marshall
You can watch what should be a rout on Saturday on FOX, as Ohio State hosts Marshall. The Buckeyes have an offense that is rolling along with quarterback Will Howard leading the way and a rushing attack led by TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins. How is Marshall going to stop Ohio State and can Marshall even find a way to score more than a field goal? Ohio State is 10-5-1 ATS at home in their last 16 home games and they should roll in this one. I’ll lay the points and take Ohio State.
Mississippi -35.5 vs. Georgia Southern
There is a lot to like right now with No. 5 Ole Miss. The offense under Lane Kiffin looks unstoppable and they should crush Georgia Southern in this one. Ole Miss leads the country in offense, putting up 692 yards per game and Georgia Southern has a very weak defense. The defense for Ole Miss has also played well, having not allowed a TD yet this season. I’ll lay the points and take the Rebels.
Underdogs Parlay
South Florida +17.5 at Miami
I know that Miami has looked really good and Cam Ward is already in the Heisman discussion, but South Florida played really well against Alabama and I think they can keep this game within shouting distance. South Florida is 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog. I’ll take the big points with the Bulls.
Bowling Green +23 at Texas A&M
The Aggies are ranked again, but let’s not get too excited. Texas A&M still has work to do and I am not sold they are worthy of being ranked. We’ll see if Marcel Reed can continue to play well. Bowling Green played well against Penn State and then they had last week off. I don’t see any reason why A&M is going to roll in this one so I will take the big points with the Falcons.
Line Move Parlay
Utah -2 at Oklahoma State
The wise guys have made the Utes a road favorite in this contest after Utah opened as a 3-point underdog. This looks like a close game that could go either way, but the line has moved toward Utah. The Utes have looked good with quarterback Isaac Wilson and he is definitely more reliable and better than Cam Rising. The Cowboys haven’t been able to run the ball and they are relying on Alan Bowman to throw it nearly every down. That might be tough to do against Utah. The line move is on the Utes, so we’ll take Utah.
Connecticut -2.5 vs. Florida Atlantic
The Huskies opened as either a 2.5-point underdog or even a 3-point dog and now they are almost a field goal favorite. This is a major line move with wise guys backing the Huskies at home. It looks like people were impressed with how well Connecticut played last week in a loss to Duke. It is still a bit risky to get too excited about laying points with Connecticut but that is the line move, so we’ll take UConn as the second team in the parlay.Make Your Parlay Wagers Right Now at Caesars.
