January 12, 2024Best Bets to Make in Craps
January 15, 2024We targeted the right trio of players for last week’s player prop best bets with C.J. Stroud, Justin Jefferson, and Rachaad White each going on to cash tickets in for us. Unfortunately, they didn’t cash all of the lottery tickets in. Stroud exceeded his passing yards prop, but came 36 yards short of 300 passing yards and one touchdown short of throwing a trio. Jefferson easily smashed his 125+ receiving yard and 10+ reception alt props allowing us to cash +270 and +500 tickets respectively, but came up just short of reeling in two touchdowns preventing us from cashing in another +500 ticket. In a game that surprisingly saw zero touchdowns scored, White exceeded his rushing yards prop but not the alt rushing yards or touchdowns props. Either way, it was another big week for my player prop best bets over at Caesars Sportsbook! Here’s to five straight weeks of sticking in the black with some Wild Card player prop best bets – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Tony Pollard Over 61.5 Rushing Yards -119 | Over 83.5 Combo Yards -119 | 100+ Rushing Yards +390
Entering the regular season, Tony Pollard was a guy I targeted in my home fantasy league. I came away thrilled to snatch him midway through the second round. Regardless of his 2022-23 campaign closing out with a broken leg, I was all-in on No. 20. After he went off for 82 scrimmage yards and two tuddies in the Week 1 40-0 blowout of the Giants, I seriously thought I came away with the steal of the second round and was already dreaming of rubbing my league mates noses in it as I hoisted the championship trophy over my head come the conclusion of Week 17.
Then the next two months played out and he went over the century mark once and scored zero touchdowns. One of my league mates wanted to buy low on him so I shipped him off without thinking twice or looking back. While the back half of his season was better than the first, it still wasn’t worthy of the draft stock I surrendered to acquire his services. All that said, I think this is a potential blowup spot for the Cowboys RB1 running up against a penetrable Packers run defense (#28) that’s allowed 4.8 yards per carry away from Lambeau. If ever there was a spot for him to save face with the whole world watching, this is it!
Matthew Stafford Over 274.5 Passing Yards -127 | Over 350+ Passing Yards +400 | 3+ Passing Touchdowns +225
Isn’t it ironic that Matthew Stafford will partake in his first-ever playoff game in Ford Field as a member of the other team? It’s simply crazy how the football gods script this stuff out! And it’s a cushy spot at that with the Lions secondary by far the weak link of the defense with it getting shredded for 248 yards per game (#27) and a healthy 7.2 yards per pass attempt (#30). This should have No. 9 licking his chops knowing full well he’ll be readily able to unleash the Rams potent aerial attack all game long.
With Detroit also likely to hang a crooked number on the board, I expect this match to be of a shootout variety with Jared Goff also looking to attain some revenge after being shuttled to Motown in favor of Stafford who finished the job he couldn’t complete. In a game of anything you can do I can do better, I fully expect both quarterbacks to put on shows and light the box score up in the process leading to copious amounts of passing yardage and tuddies accrued.
Mike Evans 100+ Receiving Yards +245 | 8+ Receptions +400 | First Touchdown Scorer +360
Had A.J. Brown practiced at the time of this writing, I would’ve been all in regardless of my desire for the Eagles to be catapulted into the sun never to be heard from again this season. Everything surrounding that franchise is giving off bad juju vibes right now and I want nothing to do with it! The feel-good story of the postseason are inarguably the Baker Mayfield-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers who defied the odds to lock down a third straight division title. Along the way, they dropped an ugly 25-11 decision to these same Eagles and will be out for some retribution.
Regardless of whether or not they attain it against a much different squad than the one opposed back in Week 3, I fully expect Mike Evans to amp it up under the lights of Monday Night Football and lend a major hand towards potentially leading his teammates to the upset win. The Bucs WR1 turned 5-of-10 targets into 60 yards and a touchdown with a long of 24 yards in the first meeting. With Philly’s secondary (#31) an even bigger sieve now than it was then, we’ll dig in and go for the gusto across the board by hammering the veteran wide receiver’s alts and pray the prop gods smile down upon No. 13.
