New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
October 18, 2024Week 9 College Football Parlay Picks
October 22, 2024The FedExCup Fall Schedule continues this week with the ZOZO Championship where Xander Schauffele is the golf betting favorite. We get a better field this week than in previous weeks with Schauffele leading the way. He is ranked No. 2 in the latest World Golf Rankings. He is joined by defending champion Collin Morikawa who has eight top 10 finishes this season but no wins. Morikawa has not won since winning this event a year ago. Also in the field this week are Sahith Theegala, Sungjae Im, Max Homa and Justin Thomas. Schauffele is listed as the favorite at PROLINE+ at odds of 6-1. Collin Morikawa is the second choice at odds of 8-1, while Hideki Matsuyama is 9-1. There is then a bit of a gap to everyone else, with Sungjae Im the fourth choice at odds of 15-1. We just missed hitting a big price last week but Doug Ghim lost by one shot to J.T. Poston. Let’s look at ZOZO Championship odds and picks.

Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest ZOZO Championship odds at PROLINE+.
Venue: Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club is a par 70 that measures 7,079 yards. It is located just east of Tokyo, Japan and opened in 1965. The layout for the ZOZO Championship has nine holes each from the club’s King Course and Queen Course.
Last Year: Morikawa won for the first time in 27 months in this event a year ago and he did it in convincing fashion, winning by six shots. Eric Cole and Beau Hossler finished tied for second, while Robby Shelton and Ryo Ishikawa finished tied for fourth.

Favorite
Xander Schauffele 6-1
It was another golf betting favorite that didn’t win last week with Tom Kim never in contention. Schauffele is the top-ranked golfer in the field and there is no question he has the talent to win, this week but he is listed as the favorite, he hasn’t played in a while and favorites simply don’t win that often. I’ll pass.
Golf Picks
Collin Morikawa 8-1
Why not Morikawa breaking his drought again in Japan? He has never defended a PGA Tour title at the same course, but he might just do it this time. Morikawa has played well this year, but simply hasn’t won. He finished 3rd at The Masters, 4th at the PGA Championship, 2nd at the Memorial Tournament and 2nd at the TOUR Championship. It is hard to win when Scottie Scheffler is entered in an event, but Scheffler is not in Japan this week. I give Morikawa a decent chance this week and we get 8-1.
Sahith Theegala 19-1
Theegala is looking to win his 2nd PGA Tour title. He played well at the end of the season, finishing well in the TOUR Championship. Theegala loves to play the shorter golf courses and he should thrive this week. He was 5th in this tournament two years ago. I like his chances to contend this week.
Will Zalatoris 41-1
This course should also suit Zalatoris. He has played well on these types of courses in the past and he is starting to regain his top form. He ranks highly in Ball Striking and Shots Gained: Tee-to-Green. I think he has some value this week at these golf betting odds.
Rickie Fowler 71-1
We know that Fowler can play well on this course as he was 2nd to Keegan Bradley in 2022. Fowler is trying to gain points so that he gets into the top 50 in the World Rankings so he needs a good finish this week. He has been making progress lately and his overall numbers are solid.
Gary Woodland 71-1
How about a flyer on Woodland at big odds? He played well at the event in Utah finishing 16th and he was even better at the Shriners finishing 9th. Woodland said he is playing much better and his putting is coming around. He has played well in Asia in the past including a 5th at this event in 2019.
