April 24, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Thursday, April 25
April 24, 2024Many of the world’s top players are in the field for this week’s PGA Tour event in Louisiana. The Zurich Classic is a team event and it is the team of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele who are listed as the favorites at Caesars. They are listed with odds of +400 with the team of Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala second at odds of +700. The team of Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry are +750, while the team of Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama is +800. It is a big jump to the next team on the golf odds board, as Matt Fitzpatrick and Alex Fitzpatrick are +2500. I am coming off a 2-2-1 week with the matchups at the RBC Heritage. Let’s look at Zurich Classic matchup picks.

Defending Champion: Davis Riley/Nick Hardy
Tournament Notes: The first and third rounds are best ball, while the second and final rounds are alternate shot. A total of 80 teams will compete in this event with the top 33 teams and ties making the cut for the weekend. TPC Louisiana is a par 72 that measures 7,245 yards. The weather should be excellent so scoring is going to be low.

Golf Matchup Picks
Theegala/Zalatoris -120 vs. Morikawa/Kitayama
Here I go again with a pick against Morikawa. It hasn’t worked of late, but I can be stubborn and this time around I get the team of Sahith Theegala and Will Zalatoris. They are both playing well lately and Zalatoris finished in a tie for fourth in this event in 2022 plus Theegala was second at last week’s RBC Heritage. I’ll take Theegala and Zalatoris in this matchup.
Taylor/Hadwin -110 vs. Garnett/Straka
One of the teams I expect to do well this week is the team of Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin. The Canadian duo teamed up last year and finished second in this tournament. They are both going well this season, as Taylor as a win at the WM Phoenix Open and Hadwin has two top five finishes. I’ll take Taylor and Hadwin in this matchup.
Hoge/McNealy -140 vs. Garnett/Straka
Another of the teams that I like is the one of Tom Hoge and Maverick McNealy. I picked them as one of the darkhorse teams that could win this event in the odds preview article. Hoge is playing well this season and he won the QBE Shootout with Sahith Theegala in 2022. McNealy is playing well since coming back from injury and I think he will do well with Hoge. I’ll take Hoge and McNealy in this matchup.
Moore/NeSmith -115 vs. Mitchell/Dahmen
Did you know that the team of Taylor Moore and Matt NeSmith have played in this event twice and tied for fourth each time? They should be in the mix again, especially with Moore in excellent form. The team of Mitchell and Dahmen may have more name recognition but oddsmakers know what they are doing and the price is a pick. I’ll take the team of Moore and NeSmith.
Hardy/Riley +100 vs. Hossler/Ryder
I am going with one of my go-to plays in the matchups and that is to go against Hossler. Hardy and Riley are the defending champions of this event and I see no reason they won’t play well again. I am still not sold on Hossler as being anything special and I’ll go against the team of Hossler and Ryder in this matchup.Check out the latest Zurich Classic matchup odds at Caesars.
