NFL Week 4 Parlay Picks
September 27, 2022MLB Sunday Night Preview – New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves
September 28, 2022Week 4 of the NFL season is here, so that means we’ll be handing out another teaser pick. Last week’s trio of games was a complete dud after getting started with the worst of beats in the Thursday night matchup. On an 11-point spread, the Browns recovered a meaningless touchdown in the endzone to win by 12 over the Steelers.
Things didn’t get much better on Sunday as the Chargers laid an egg against Jacksonville in a 38-10 shellacking, though we did see the Broncos cover and win outright, 11-10 over the San Francisco 49ers. Now, we’ll try to get back in the win column.
BetMaker will take a look ahead at Week 4, giving three more games to group in a teaser. This week, we’re looking at matchups between the Panthers and Cardinals, the Steelers and Jets, and the Bills and Ravens.

Baltimore Ravens (+9.5) vs. Buffalo Bills
The Ravens and Bills face off in a heavyweight matchup that could be an AFC playoff preview come January. Both enter the contest at 2-1, with both teams’ losses coming at the hands of the Dolphins. Baltimore blew a 21-point second-half lead in their lone defeat, while Buffalo outgained Miami by nearly 300 yards yet still lost, 21-19.
Despite the setbacks, these offenses boast two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Lamar Jackson leads the Ravens in passing (749 Yds, 10 TDs) and rushing (243 Yds, 2 TDs) while Josh Allen does the same for the Bills (1,014 Pass, 113 rush, 10 TDs). Both squads are averaging more than 30 points a game, meaning we could see some fireworks come Sunday.
Buffalo enters as the favorite even with the game being played in Baltimore. Teasing this 3.5-point line to +9.5 for the Ravens feels like a safe bet given the explosiveness on offense. The Bills have been fantastic throughout the year, but Baltimore should be able to hang within 10.
The Pick: BALTIMORE RAVENS (+9.5)
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets (+9.5)
For all the fireworks we could see in Baltimore, we’ll likely see the opposite in Pittsburgh. The Steelers and Jets face off with two of the worst offenses in the NFL. Pittsburgh has scored just four offensive touchdowns through three games, while New York has been held to 12 and 9 points in their two losses.
The matchup of Joe Flacco and Mitch Trubisky won’t wow anyone, but we’ll back the more experienced passer with an offense that’s shown a bit more potential through three games. The Steelers will enter this contest as the favorite, with the line currently sitting at -3.5 in favor of Pittsburgh. Teasing that line six points gets it up to +9.5 for the Jets, which should be a safe call in what is expected to be a close game.
With neither offense showing the ability to pull away from its opponent, we’ll back the New York Jets to keep this game within 10 points.
The Pick: NEW YORK JETS (+9.5)
Carolina Panthers (+4) vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Panthers and Cardinals face off in a matchup that’s been dominated by Carolina in recent memory. The Panthers have won each of the last six meetings, including winning outright as underdogs in each of the last three outings. Last year, Carolina crushed the Cardinals 34-10 in Arizona despite entering as seven-point ‘dogs.
This year, the script is flipped. Carolina will be favored with the line currently sitting at -2. The game will be played in Charlotte, which could mean severe weather with Hurricane Ian expected to reach the Carolinas over the weekend. Those conditions could lead to a sloppy, back-and-forth battle that stays close throughout.
Teasing this game six points flips the line to +4 for the Carolina Panthers. We’ll back the home team to keep things within a field goal in what’s shaping up to be a rainy, windy day in the Queen City.
The Pick: CAROLINA PANTHERS (+4)
