Week 4 NFL Player Props
September 30, 2022NFL Week 4 Market Movers
September 30, 2022The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds are alive at PointsBet Sportsbook! Every passing week has seen a new frontrunner. Heading into Week 4, it’s the Saints Chris Olave that’s proven to be the flavor of the week after he reeled in nine of 13 targets and turned them into 147 scoreless yards.
I’m willing to bet a decent chunk of my bankroll that he won’t be the frontrunner next week with Jameis Winston likely to not suit up for this week’s game against the Vikings across the pond. With the futures odds seemingly changing every passing week, I still don’t think we’ve seen any player separate himself enough to be considered the odds-on favorite. With that the case, I’m going to recommend a few players to make some beer money investments on now just in case they prove to be late bloomers and go on to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Their odds to do so offer up too much value not to take a shot!

George Pickens +1600
To be clear, I still think Kenny Pickett goes on to win this award once Tomlin gets his head out of his you know what and puts an end to the Mitch Trubisky experiment. That being said, Pickett’s odds to take home the hardware are now double what they initially hit the board at, and they simply just shouldn’t be. We should take advantage! The kids an athletic freak that’s already come up with a number highlight reel catches. Though currently the low man on the totem pole in the target share department, his average depth of target (16.0) dwarfs Diontae Johnson, and his 224 air yards ranks second to him as well. Pickett loved making sweet music with Pickens in the regular season, and I expect more of the same once he gets the starting nod.
Treylon Burks +2000
When it’s all said and done, I firmly believe the former Hog proves to be the cream of the 2023 wide receiver class. Treylon Burks hasn’t gotten much attention early on due to managing just eight receptions and 115 scoreless yards on 13 overall targets. However, his route participation has ramped up each of the last three weeks, and he got more burn than any of the other Titans pass catchers last week. Tennessee needs this kid to step up and fill the gaping wide void left by A.J. Brown when he was shuttled to Philadelphia. Look for some boom weeks from this kid in the very near future. His 20-1 return to win the OROY Award is the longest it’s been to date. He’s a buy and I wouldn’t fault ya if you ponied up more than just a beer money investment.
Christian Watson +4000
So Romeo Doubs is getting all the attention right now. His odds trimmed down to 10-1 this past week after going 8/73/1 against Tampa Bay last week. His big showing occurred with both Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins out of commission. It’s anyone’s guess who will ultimately turn into Aaron Rodgers favorite target the remainder of the season. With that, I simply can’t pass up on the line value the former Bison is currently offering up. That being said, hold off on the beer money investment until we know he actually suits up this weekend against the Patriots. If he misses, hold off and then fire away next week once the refreshed betting odds hit the board.
Kenneth Walker +5000
With Travis Homer recently hitting the IR with broken ribs, more playing time will be made available for the electric Kenneth Walker. I firmly expect him to make the most of the opportunity once given the chance. Rashaad Penny has been the backfield hog to this point followed by Homer and then DeeJay Dallas.
Walker has only logged 20 overall snaps, but got his hands on the pigskin 13 times be it by carrying it or catching a pass out of the backfield. Penny has never been one to remain healthy, and I believe it to only be a matter of time until the injury bug comes from out of nowhere to put him on the shelf. Once the path gets even clearer, you’re going to love having a taste of this 50-1 ticket in your back pocket just in case the former Spartan goes HAM!
Skyy Moore +8000
Heading into Week 4, Skyy Moore has been the forgotten man in KC’s wide receiver corps. As such, his odds to win this award have skyrocketed all the way up to 80-1 after initially hitting the board at 14-1. Can you say line value? Sorry, but I haven’t come away impressed with what JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marques Valdes-Scantling, and Mecole Hardman have been able to do as Patrick Mahomes’ primary pass catchers behind Travis Kelce.
Moore has only been on the field for 23 snaps and caught his lone target for 30 yards. This kids got speed to burn and will prove to be a key contributor to the Chiefs offense once finally given the chance. Andy Reid will soon have no choice but to give him some burn, and I expect Moore to make a huge impact once given the chance.
